This is technically unrelated to this game but I didn't know how else to send this but you should know in the game manual for Patchy Matchy there's an issue on the 4th page. It's got a marker for "bubble" and "combo counter" but the bubble is pointing to a shell and the combo counter is pointing to where it should be but is not currently visible in the screenshot.

A really enjoyable game that I think with a little polish could really shine. I really think this could do with a pause menu that let's you actually quit the game without needing to alt f4. Similarly the ability to save your game would be great for a longer run. Lastly like the latest comment says a fish encyclopedia would be so fun to see how many fish you've seen in your game.
Welp I just blazed through the demo and I am so intrigued. Wondering what happened to the dog. What's this fabled incident that keeps being mentioned. What exactly is happening to the donors. Whether or not Apu and Bart are dating. I'm hoping there's a way to transfer the save data from the demo to the final version though since I don't really wanna have to find through all those notes again.
A very interesting concept and I love the idea of switching between foreground and background for controlling the string but I think the current method for controlling the direction of the string movement is a little annoying. I'd much prefer if instead it took the direction of the joystick/directional keys and moved the string in that direction instead of the current tank control-esque control scheme.
Good concept and the love the idea of using the gb camera for asset creation. But I was able to find the map pretty quickly and then it was mere moments before I was at the exit without having seen a single ghost. In my opinion maybe it'd be better to not find that as easily. Another thing and it's more of a personal choice but I think arrows showing the options of direction you could choose would've been nice to have.
I submitted to steamgriddb to have steam grid assets hosted for your game. https://www.steamgriddb.com/game/5494627 The submission is still being approved so you won't be able to see it at that link until it's actually approved. For my personal use I've recreated a box cover and cartridge for es-de use. There's the site screenscraper that has art assets for there but I'm not sure if they allow for itch.io games.
Oh no it's the very first line of the game. I was able to identify the trigger. Sending "Get up" doesn't register but "get up" does for whatever reason.
