Android has a hard file size limit of 2 GB. This makes standalone versions of larger games impossible. There are ways around that, such as splitting the game into several parts. But most developers find that this is not worth the substantial extra effort.

JoiPlay can be used to play the standard Ren'Py archives for PC on Android, but as far as I know it has the same file size limitation. So it is probably not going to work with this game. (If I am wrong about this, someone please correct me.)

Great game except for the boss fight. Suddenly strange things started moving on the screen, and it wasn't clear what was what let alone what was going on. Then I was asked for a difficulty level. As I suspected problems, I set it to "Very easy". Then other strange things happened on the screen and nothing I did seemed to have any sensible effect. After a while I noticed some very dark, very big face(?) moving as I used the WASD key, and much later I discovered that if I click on certain colorful round things some missiles(?) emanated from it. But nothing I did seemed to change the lower (red) health bar from getting lower and the upper (green) healthbar from staying the same. When the red health bar ran out, everything seemed to be over, but I don't even know whether I  won or lost.

No, but don't expect anything remotely like fast updates. The developer has a unique concept which includes massive branching and different facial expressions for each branch, even superficially similar ones. The developer also has a demanding full-time job.

As a result, updates are rare and may not necessarily advance the story much depending on the branching-related overhead. Personally, like most people I wouldn't need so much perfectionism around the branching, but apparently that's precisely what motivates the developer and ensures that we get any progress at all. So instead of complaining I am exploring the branching while waiting up to a year for the next update.

Cosy Creator hasn't replied yet, so I am taking the liberty of telling you what I know.

The first release was about two years ago and included the first 10 days. Since then there have been 10 more releases and 16 new in-game days. I think that's pretty fast for a game of this quality.

Elsewhere, Cosy Creator has recently provided an outline of future game content. Sounds to me like material for another 2 years of updates at this rate at the very least, maybe even a lot more. Cosy Creator did not mention additional girls, and with the potential love interests we have encountered so far, it already looks like a potentially huge harem. On the other hand, there will be time skips to university, so some university students may be added. (At the very least Samantha, who already has a crush on the MC but is so far classified as a side character.)

I am not sure what you mean by limit. A limit on the harem size? Since the novel is essentially kinetic (i.e. linear), the harem has the same size in every play-through.
