Thank you so much for the comment!! I'm really glad you liked those characters. They were easily some of my favorite to write, conceptually. Maybe someday I'll get some plushies made... I'm also really happy you like Uneasy Solace, despite technically being an unintentional leak. I highly recommend checking out tomcat's bandcamp https://dozytomcat.bandcamp.com/music

From what you've seen in Blood in the Darkness, it's kindof close to where I left off development wise LOL. Though I'm picking back up these days. I'll have something to show sooner this year <3

Thank you for playing my game, and please take care in the meantime!

Thanks for uploading to itch!

I appreciate the sentiment, though we don't want to make money from a fangame. I also don't know if that's exactly legal either. While receiving funds to work on the project would increase productivity incentives, I know for a fact that it would heavily affect the writing quality.

Me neither! I just remember seeing an analytic pointing my game to that site and thought I'd fill as much of that info out as possible on a late work night. I'll see about validating that within the next couple of days. Thank you!

Edit: I filled out as much as I possibly could, and I'm satisfied enough with how it is now. Thanks for contributing!

I knooooow but it's more like a project I originally wanted to help out with just to get things moving, and I now see. I really like being a part of the game's development, but I don't want to leave it to it's devices if there's something I can do when the time comes. I think of it as a friend's project that I can help with, not as my own commitment, if that makes sense.

That's literally what I said in the above post.

Hey all! If you're wondering about the development and future of this game, please read the latest dev logs.

Thanks!

the candle is underwater, but still burning. please have a look at the latest dev logs if you wanna know what's going on.

To those finding my game due to the ongoing itch.io situation, thanks for checking it out! The beginning of the game is a bit too hand-holdy, and i do plan on patching a bit of that out in the next update. Keep calling those pesky payment processors!

Edit: The beginning received the fix I wanted for it with the 0.3.002 update.

I needed this

Known Bug: Skills that only apply to the user give the player the option to select anyone, but it only applies to the user. This unfortunately cannot be fixed.

Alright I'll be honest, I'm on hiatus as far as this project goes. Currently working on my own project, and then I'll pick LITW's back up once it launches in a few weeks.

To the few that may see this comment, you have insider knowledge :)

Edit (06/15/2025): My personal burnout for this project is weighing heavily on me. Sorry everyone, I'll pitch in more once we get over this creative hurdle.

working on it!!!

The game development wise is in a heavily unfinished state. It'll probably take a good amount of time to have something else to show again, other than screenshots on social media. For the moment, it's something we'll work on when we can. Currently, I'm working on another project, so programming is going to someone else currently (sorry!!!).
As for expanding to other platforms, we've got no plans to since this is only a fan game. The most we could expand to is IOS and Android....but that's going to be something to decide once something's completely ready.
We won't be taking donations, but several of our artists currently have commissions open!

My bad!!! Thanks for letting us know!
