Alright, I got this game on steam, amazing, but this had me realize something,

in project Kat, the ritual, if I’m remembering right, has no clause about weapons.

This means, different rituals have different rules to them, MEANING, it is entirely possible there is a ritual with no clause about weapons or Being alone, alternatively, there’s nothing saying multiple rituals can’t be done at the same time

MEANING, it is possible that there could be a group of people with various weaponry, could all enter the demon realm, and then all go around killing demons

But if we assume that, no matter what, you can’t bring a weapon, we know that weapons or weapon like objects *do* exist, meaning, someone could enter the demon realm, find a weapon, and go around killing demons

I've done it! I have narrowed it down to only theory 2/2.5, 3, 4, and 6

alright, first out is theory 6, simply because we HAVE to assume the supernatural.

From reading the opening text, I find it can help support theories 2/2.5, 3, and 4

the movie Morgan rents is Ravenous, a 1999 movie set in the 1840's during the mexican-american war with supernatural themes of cannibalism, this supports theories 2/2.5 and 3, so 4 is now out

Eve's diary entries are quite difficult for me to read or gather any evidence from, however it shows how unwell she actually is and how clingy she is, we also see through checking various things as Eve that she is a murderer, and VERY observant

the current theories are 2/2.5 (vampire) and 3 (generally undead)

and yet, these are both wrong in one way or another

looking at a synopsis of Ravenous, I have come to my most likely conclusion, sometime in her life, Morgan consumed human flesh and became something inhuman, this is why we see her eating Gwen in eve's dream and the ravaged trash bags, Morgan has to eat people, this is why she is so casual about murder, because she has been killing just as much if not more, than Eve has!!! I've solved it! this is my, as of right now, FINAL theory...

I love this game, I love it when Devs leave a bunch of stuff unknown, but give you enough evidence to theorize and/or figure it out for yourself!

I JUST HAD ANOTHER IDEA, Again, spoiler warnings!!!!!!!

Theory 6: Morgan is actually dead, and Eve was imagining the ending, kinda like a Silent hill 2 scenario. I don’t have much evidence for this, so it is unlikely, but quite possible, the brain does odd things in response to trauma

Ok, Theory time, the main ending left me with many many questions, I have analyzed a few things and here are the working theories for how any of that happened, let me know if you have any pieces of evidence I missed or any theories of your own you'd like to share

Without further ado,

SPOILER WARNINGS FOR THE ENDING AND CHARACTER DETAILS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Theory 1: Eve didn't actually shoot morgan in the head and is an unreliable narrator type character who imagined it for one reason or another, Possible, but highly unlikely

Theory 2: Morgan is a vampire, but not in the traditional sense, Morgan is shown not having many qualms about murder, cannibalism, along with being VERY pale, however she was dead for a period of time, and due to her being able to go outside during the day and see herself in the reflection, this theory is unlikely, but possible if we change how vampires are traditionally depicted

(Theory 2.5: she might be human/mortal by day, but can come back by night)

Theory 3: similar to theory 2, but Morgan, for one reason or another, is undead/not technically alive, given she can be killed, but not permanently, it is possible she might be something like a zombie, demon, ghost, revenant, there are many possibilities, again, her lack of issue with murder, cannibalism, and paleness can help support this. Given what I do know, this theory seems to be quite likely

Theory 4: Morgan is an immortal/semi-immortal being, she can die, just not forever, the only evidence supporting that she is immortal is that she wasn't dead. less likely as Theory 2 and 3, but possible.

Theory 5: That's not morgan. It is possible it might be a mimiclike creature that feeds on meat, maybe it was always a mimiclike creature, maybe one found morgans corpse, there is next to no supporting evidence for this. Probably flat out wrong.

that's about it, Very good game!

That wasn't as depressing as I thought it would be, personally I like to think Loam's ghost/spirit is always with Drop, makes me feel happy imagining Loam's spirit listening intently to Drop talking to herself

I haven’t played the game, but it looks pretty solid, like as solid as a metal gear, hmm…I wonder why it was invisible on my page until now.

Im actually kinda close to tearing up rn...this is the closest ive been to crying since ghost of tushima's or Red ead redemption 2's endings...10/10, beautifully made, im gonna go play some happy games now

Ok so I know nobody cares at all and nobody will probably pay this much mind, but I'm just putting this out there so my autism can finally rest, so, this is my timeline I have assembled 

Astara's garden is first, then we have the first few chapters of lonely wolf treat, during those we have Syrup and the ultimate sweet and contract demon, then we have stary flowers and the later chapters of lonely wolf treat, and before all of the games there's her tears were my light, and I really don't know where drowning drowning fits in because there's nothing I remember in that game that gives any clues about its placement

there was no need to write this and no need for anyone to read this, if anyone reading this has any possible corrections to my timeline please let me know, thank you for listening to my autism ramblings

this was an amazing game. Can't wait for part 2 happy early new year!
