Okay, here's the good ending walkthrough:

Left-click until you reach a choice that has the following options:
- [Something to do with failing/giving up].
- [A different option].

Choose [A different option], and then continue to left-click. Eventually you will reach the good ending.

In all seriousness, I tried to make it pretty obvious which options will lead to good outcomes, so you shouldn't have any difficulty. :)

If you play the game, you will eventually reach the good ending. :)

All the Bad Endings give you a choice to go back to the main path, so you can't really go astray.

I've never heard of this issue before; have you since been able to fix it? You should be able to install the 1.0 build if you've bought the game.
