I thought this game had a fun concept and a cool gameplay loop! My only issue was that I couldn't get the dodge roll to work - when I hit spacebar, I didn't do anything. Couldn't beat the ending because of that. Otherwise good!

I must admit, I only can get to Rookie II : ( but I really like the silly flash game aesthetic here. I really am just a rookie II. You got me there.

Fun game! Reminded me a lot of Feeding Frenzy which I can see you mentioned in another comment. One thing I didn't love is the way that combos work - the number counts down, but to extend your combo you actually need to count up since each new fish adds to the start of your countdown. The effect is that once you have a small combo it's much more safe to sit around and not eat any fish until your countdown is passed, since you have very limited time to grab a new higher number and you can't extend a combo once it starts. It's a small thing but I think if new bites added to the end of your combo it would increase the game pace and make it less staccato.

I love the art of this game, my goodness! Just so beautiful, and the game itself felt so polished and clever. Totally could imagine this as a full game. "Wiggle The Galaxy Swallower of Eternal Despair" is a great name for the mascot too I love it.

Easily the best visuals and audio of any game from this so far! I agree that the cards were a little confusing and clunky, but the level of polish on the camera system and timer still made it feel compelling for the time we're given with it - it starts to feel futile and greedy and I think that fits.

Very sweet!

I really enjoyed this game! The inspirations are clear but the wide window and the dodge / roll / jump made it feel fresh. I also loved displaying your vertical speed at the top, it all worked together well to dare you to take risky, long jumps and the quick restart meant losing wasn't that punishing. I think the loop of big fun jump into progressively more careful jumps as you get a higher score and loss becomes more punishing is very effective. I would have loved a song - the sounds that you used really worked, but adding a soundtrack could have boosted it further.

I quite liked this game! I really enjoyed the annoyed eyes on the main character and his fish friends, reminded me of the kind of nonsense you'd see on the SNES, like Stunt Race FX. Only issue is I was hoping there would be more things done with the number - feels like it doesn't change enough to be a super impactful mechanic.

Glad that someone took that "sad count" idea from the original announcement. I really enjoyed the graphics of this (and the sound), and I thought the central mechanic was very fun. I also loved the opening scene, cute and funny. That said I just could not figure out what was the exit - I think a clearer marker could have helped there. Also, the house in the center of that level has no collision!

I liked this (especially the graphics in game which I thought were beachy and 90s-retro in a fun way, but I felt the momentum-based physics could have been used better by the game design. Most of the platforming is precise and even at the end of levels you can't just send it since you need to land in the whole. Still, I thought it was fun.

I liked it but the glitch off map made me unable to finish. Chiptune classical music was a fun idea!

Super fun, I thought this one was delightful.

Thank you so much!

For sure - I'd love to add a progress-saving system at some point.

Definitely a fair point - if I were to work on this more, I'd have a longer invincibility phase at the start and have the hand slide away once even at the start so you always have to do some tracking.

I quite liked this! My only big issue was the opening tutorial, It took me a long time to figure out that you don't sink while in your shell and the momentum can be pretty finicky. I think having fans there would have helped. Also the pixel bevel can be stood on in a few places and since you can't jump you can get stuck on corners. Otherwise I thought the art was cute and the puzzles were fun and interesting - esp. enjoyed how you had the coiling and mucus serve multiple functions.

Big fan! Really loved the mechanic with flipping the hourglass, I thought that made the last puzzle quite interesting, and the little trick where the drums kick in once you grab the hourglass was simple but effective.
