The visuals are on point, I like how you utilized the 3d space along with the 2d text storyline. It is also very cool that you have to get to multiple endings to get the full story and piece it all together.

The different music choices worked well to immerse me in your game. The gameplay and art is also very humorous and makes it feel very personal as I believe you made it all yourself. I especially like the artsy guy getting tackled for shoplifting, very funny.

The visuals are very cool with the green text and images. I felt that the sound was getting louder and then got jumpscared, which I was not expecting from a text-based game. Very mysterious, very cool.

The creativity and humor in this is top-notch. I especially liked the small details like the smaller update text in the Review section or the stretched keyboard image at the bottom of the screen.

I would not have known you were rushed to finish this game because there's so much story already. It's a very relaxing playthrough, as the creator wished for it to be. I like using the sides of the screen for different types of dialogue and italics to represent the player's thoughts, great job!

It worked for me when I downloaded it.

There's a lot of artistic elements going on here that remind me of your project 1, it seems that you have a specific style that you like to go for in your games, which is very cool! The text on the ground you walk across, the text that appears on the screen, and the text on the walls definitely makes this text-based game very intriguing, as you can get meaning from anywhere that you look.

As others have noted, the script being typed out over time works well with the mysterious story. I think that a lot of things, like the endings, are left unsaid to make the player have their own interpretation, which is very clever.

Being in an enclosed space makes it really easy to visualize the scene, even if you can't actually see where you are. That being said, the background image fits well and helps develop the atmosphere.

I was confused by the controls for my first few tries, but once I figured it out the game is very fun! I haven't seen a rhythm game executed like this before, and the background and simple text make it a pleasant experience.

I like the ways the golem's personality is expressed. It dances playfully when you spare it but can deliver a massive punch when you try to kill it. Mixing up the 3d objects and 2d text worked very well, good job!

Thanks for checking it out!

I had a very enjoyable playthrough of this game. It’s a cozy gacha experience that I don’t get from many games I play, which was a good change of scenery. I also really liked the illusion of choice, as you’re really only there for the gumballs.

Agreed. The text scrolling only some of the time switched up the flow of the game as well which added to the gameplay. The music really did add to the experience a lot!

The sound in the game also adds a lot to the atmosphere. You technically don’t have to kill the birds… you can just simply exist.

As others have said the hidden timer is a good touch. I’d like to say I beat this on the first time as I remembered everything, but I hesitated on the patient’s blood pressure. I like the custom patient chart you created, it makes it feel like you’re an official surgeon!

This game is so good. The humorous quips throughout really brought it together for me. Also the use of stock images is very funny, and I enjoyed trying to find the different endings!

I really like how you have to continue clicking to go through dialogue boxes before you are given some choices. It feels very immersive as each small bit of text that shows up feels like it carries more weight. The different expressions are also a very nice touch, as others have pointed out.

The first idea I had for my text-based game was a goblin hunting game… good thing I didn’t do that! Keeping track of the objects and stats seems like a lot of work, but it definitely brings the RPG experience together.

I think the choices given to the player were used to provide a result that you can actually see. The transition from 2D to 3D space makes me feel like I really made my own game. Very cool use of both text and a 3D space!

I like the scrolling text with the arcade-style sound effects. The text feels very personal as you listen to the squid’s inner monologue.

Very humorous game, I like it! Breaking the fourth wall and making a Unity game inside of Unity is a pretty funny and interesting idea, and well executed! The secret ending when choosing to make a 2D game was very cool as well.

I like how there are two text boxes, one for the narrator and one for the main character’s thoughts. The panicked thoughts midway through the game are also a nice touch as your character realizes the choices they’ve made.

Indeed.

Thanks!
