We wanted to focus on a more exploratory aspect of this kind of game, and removing the player's health bar turns it into something where the goal is closer to checking out the world rather than killing enemies.

After a bit of playtesting we noticed our game was stressful since you have little control over your attacks. So we omitted the heath for the player. Turning the game into a more relaxing rather than stressful design.

Thank you! Our artist wanted a cute birb and I convinced them to make the eyes to look ever so stressed.

Thank you! I really like vibey fun games and I think this fits that fun style of game.

Thank you

Birb, is def the best part of the Birb game.

Thank you, It's really nice to hear this after the jam!

We took inspiration from games that were closer to a playground feeling and so we based the core design closer to a Don'tStarve kind of gameplay loop, where it's more about discovery than strict goals.

Thank you, we wanted something that would take players by surprise!

Thank you so much! We wanted to go a with a hybrid 2d/3d look and I think we did a decent job :)

Ty! Its nice to hear that you like the presentation of our game!  There is not much of a goal other than make it to the yellow sign at the end and dork about with the dice currently. Enemies take damage from the different dice effects such as the tornado or explosion or Poison puff and are healed by the green buff effect.

Thank you for your input! :D Ill add highlights to the + and - for the volume then!

Thank you! Its really nice to hear this after the jam! XD

I do agree but I think it could also be used to a great horror advantage. ex: Running from a monster and then you want to use a key on a  door to escape but the key for that door is like 30 items down in your inventory so you are panicking while looking through all your keys as the monster is closing in on you! XD
