Thanks. I can confirm that the sand issue is fixed by changing quality to low in the settings. No more delay of sound effect too.
I can reproduce this. This will happen if you press the down key for a period of time. I can upload a video if you want.
Also, sometimes the sound effect of digging a resource is delayed, usually happen on the first resource.

Yeah, ruby is rare, but it is fine after you crafted the Omnishard and rush to the Granite zone.
