It's obvious that the images with the beard were rendered later by the creator. All of the models were made by Scrag_Boy, and the protagonist's model is called Twink, a young boy. To prevent the protagonist from being mistaken for a minor, the developer later re-sculpted the face to make Twink look more mature and masculine, and also added a beard. However, it seems the creator didn't properly organize the rendered images, which is why the protagonist appears beardless in some pictures

This is a very interesting game. I suspect that the number of pirates and bombs is related to the size of your raft. Since my raft has only 1 wooden plank, 1 sail, and 3 cannons, I will encounter at most 3 naval mines and easily obtain 1000 coins. Unfortunately, sometimes the cannons malfunction and fail to hit the target, causing the naval mines to destroy the entire raft.
