You have to jump to hit the birds! We're glad you liked the game though!

If I could give 6 stars for audio implementation, I would. Some friends and I did something similar in our prototype for Alchemist's Wrath. Cool aesthetic, it's unfortunate this game didn't have more time to actually be fleshed out.

Glove and I appreciate the compliments! I made a lot of the SFX using pitch stretching distortion to give it a kind of ethereal/warped sound. Thanks for playing!

Although I didn't work on balance, I like when not all the weapons are equally strong, because it makes you have to plan around having a weak weapon sometimes. Just my biased opinion though, what's more important is if it's actually more fun to play that way.

Oh wow, haha, well that makes a little more sense!

Gladly! Either of you are welcome to give me a ring if you ever need someone for music/SFX on future projects, I really resonated with your approach on this project.

Try difficult! There's an alternate soundtrack.

I got to Big Apartments 2 before I tapped out. Would have liked if there were an ending you could reach within a much more reasonable amount of time considering this is a jam game, but I understand why it's long, given it's an incremental game.

Pretty good graphics and audio. Interesting demo of a breeding system. I like that you used sea creatures for this as they're a pretty uncommon pick for breeding games.

Others have said it but the voiceacting and aesthetic were very advanced for a game jam. This is a 10/10 for me for this jam. Definitely following you for your work as a result of this game.

I got to day 12. Fun little slightly incremental game.

I had a fun time playing this game! Cute art and I think it could have easily been a lot longer of a game and stay fun if we had more time.

Please do! Happy to hear you're taking that one further!

Yet another hit from from Marie. Please keep making the kind of stuff you make, I'm serious.

You are an amazing team. Seriously. Do you have a Discord server? I'd love to meet you guys, this is phenomenal.

The aesthetic, sound design and music of this game are all S-tier for me. Are you fans of Gingiva, Middens, etc.? Beautiful. Fun to play, too.

Great concept, I'd definitely play this a bit longer if there were more to do. I like that you choose how hard it is by changing what organs you collect, it's the same design concept as adding challenges for score multipliers in other games but integrated directly into the story.

It's a pretty fun game and gives me a lot of nostalgia for the tower defense games I used to play on Andkon.com.
This isn't really a bullet hell game, but there are a lot of bullets, at least. It's not really appropriate for this jam but it did fit the theme.
In general I'd discourage the use of AI as it will encourage you to pursue and settle into inefficient workflows. In this game it probably did not detract from the quality, but try to figure out how you would go about solving problems you'd usually mentally offload onto AI -- you'll find that if you understand the investigative and troubleshooting process firsthand you can actually work MUCH faster and more efficiently.

Looking forward to future releases from you! Contact me if you ever need fast-paced music (but please note that I don't work on projects that use significant AI assistance).

The aesthetics are easily the strongest part of this game. I like the difficult controls, but it takes a moment to learn them. Would love to see your visuals and game design knowledge applied to a bigger project.

The sliding physics are an interesting idea. I wonder what a game would look like with a lot of patterns more explicitly designed around them.

This is a good showcase of VFX and particle effects. Would love to see those skills implemented in a larger project.

The look of this game is definitely its strongest trait, I like how you implemented the animations on the bullets. Without music, the sounds are a little bit harsh, but they are appropriate sound effects for the game.

Kinda surreal. I like the concept of being able to shrink as a hyper.

I liked the matryoshka doll enemy. The graze and visuals of the cat boss were pretty fun. Could use some music!

It's peak. The arranges are pretty cute. Satisfying combination of mechanics.

Hah, THANK YOU for noticing the One Step from Eden influence in my work!! I am a huge fan of Steel Plus who has had a big impact on my style. Maybe we should work together sometime!

Simon and I appreciate the kind words about the soundtrack! My background is in Touhou-style music as well as Dodonpachi, so yes, you're definitely hearing the Japanese bullet hell influence.

Tons of juice. Fantastic job on the soundtrack Sylvy!

YEEAHHHH LET'S GOOOOO

This OST is just ridiculously cool, I heard 2 songs from the OST and it was so good that I immediately tabbed out to go play the game.

Really badass, was sick seeing this at the game dev meet.

This game's artistic vision is clear, direct and well-executed. I'm impressed that so much craftsmanship was put into such a small project.

Appreciate the compliment on the music! Was very fun working with the swapping mechanic. I'd absolutely love to produce music for a fully polished game with this system.

Hmm, as far as lagginess goes, can I ask if this was on the web build or the desktop build?

Pretty fun game! My brain kept trying to do WASD for movement and arrows for shooting, so it was hard to learn at first. Enjoyed scowsh's use of those chip instruments too!

Fun straightforward game! Minimalist controls are interesting.

I appreciate the compliment on the soundtrack!
