Is it possible to make this a state as well? instead of it being tied to the actor?

Yes but MZ can use MV animations in the animation sheets this error pops up when using those. with Synrec's state stacker. Ima do more testing just needa work a bit more.

May have found an issue, seems when rapidly imputing commands with MV animations causes a script crash specifically this one. 

Edit 1: after hours of tinkering I seem to have figured it out, there seems to be some wierd issue either with compatability or something with Synrec's State Stacker.
