In what way was it frustrating?

Yeah, I noticed it after submissions closed, I'll be making sure to update it after voting. I'm glad you enjoyed it :D

Perhaps you're doing it in front of witnesses. See if you can get him away from the eyes of the public.

This game has a very nice charm to it...that charm being a glorified fishing simulator, and it was high time we got one to this high of quality and perfection. 10/10 would get lost in a parallel dimension again.

You honestly have a great talent for storytelling, I am planning on playing The Horror Of Salazar House very soon.

Anyways, most of my compliments to the chef are at the end of the video if you care to take a listen. Thank you for making this game, and I look forward to more from you.

Cursor.lockState = CursorLockMode.Locked;

Put that in the start method of your player script

While in your editor, just make your game screen as large as possible while still having access to the inspector, and just move them back on the screen. Best advice for your next game: before adding any UI, fix the canvas to screen size first, then add UI. Makes life a whole lot easier.

How did both of us upload a Krampus game at the same time?!

Also, few tips, since you made it in Unity, make sure to set Cursor.LockState to locked, and set the Canvas scaler to to Scale With Screen Size. Just a few tips. :)

Okay, so first, I would check if you have a directional light source and point it towards your scene. If you do and there's still issues, then do this...

  • Create a new material, with shader Sprites > Diffuse.
  • Select all the objects you want to react to lighting, go to their Sprite Renderer and change the material to the one you just created.
  • Create a point/spot light at Z=-1 and you should see the light.

This is mainly for doing small space lighting (i.e. dark room with candle)

Mine is attempting to be a card game about playing against god for the sake of the survival of humanity but in reality the more you win, the more people you lose on your Earth...or something....idk still figuring it out...just having fun learning new stuff :)

Can't wait for my comment to get lost in this sea of posts, but to Nihilanthdev, you my friend, have done the internet a great service by providing up this masterpiece. I must say though, the cashier...she is my mortal enemy. Either way, well done, can't wait to see more from you

A really good game, can't wait to edit the other 3, one complain, voiceover is quite low, just letting you know :)

What an acid trip of a game. Made me really tense. I have only one thing to say. "Object Changed"

I regret being able to hear during this game...great game :)

Fun game, really enjoyed my time with it. Only criticism is that the game used 100% of my gpu, and caused it to lag when recording. If you could optimize that for future players, that would be great

A short but simple game that really plays into my fears of being watched and someone being in the house, yeesh. Anyways, great game, would love to see a larger development on it into a longer more fleshed out game. Either way, good job
