That is something why the inventory is kinda not finished yet, i was thinking on places like the campaign or other modes that you would get more items along the way.
But it is not implemented now, i think is worth it to think about it once i have more progress in the campaign. 
The only think done atm is the secret cube that after 60ish pulls with no SEC card would give you one that allows you to buy one SEC directly.  (I am sorry though, as you cannot buy them with SEC cubes yet)

Well just for context (a pack is 200 usually for 7 cards) a box contains 16 packs (Like the irl boxes) so total 112 cards. It is priced to be around 15 packs-ish cost. So a 10% discount. (For more info please check the info section in each banner) 
Regarding buying singles, I want to allow the deckbuilder type of players to complete their decks without relying on gacha so that's why the low costs. 
Now, if you wanna a UR-SEC (because you like the shipgirl or something like that), it can get too expensive directly. In that case you are better off opening packs! It is a great feeling to get some -SEC cards there! 

Thats why I would prefer to keep a balance between gacha players, collectors and deck builders.

Starting from version 0.5.2 you are able to see it if you click on the deck!

Yes, copy your old saves into the new installation. If it asks to override and you want to use your copied saves tell it to override.  

If for some reason it is broken you can take any copied save from backups onto saves.  (Saves is the active state the game uses, and backups are saves stored safely so even if it got corrupted you got a copy elsewhere)

C:\Users\<your-user>\AppData\Roaming\Godot\app_userdata\AzurLaneTCG\saves

Also your save is saved every new version under 

C:\Users\<your-user>\AppData\Roaming\Godot\app_userdata\AzurLaneTCG\backups
