I’m so happy to hear you made it through, thank you so much for playing! I hope the win screen of Mr. Serious was worth it.

The visuals are so dang good, I can’t praise Blue enough for her work on this. I don’t have any visual artistry skill even close lol.

I wish we had sound too! Beyond elevating the game with some music, I think sound effects would have helped bring some clarity to the hold-push-to operate mechanic, as well as the Mr. Serious timer and the power threshold being crossed. Assets weren’t out of the question when I realized I wouldn’t have time for my own sound, but we cut it close with submission for its current state!

Thank you again for playing and the kind words, we had a lot of fun making this and learned a ton :)

Agreed, with more time I would have fine tuned some things.

Thank you for playing!

I enjoyed my time with this game!

It didn't really click at first, but as things got going I could feel the "juice". While the game sort of plays itself as you get the upgrades, the descriptions were funny (especially the child labor) and it's always fun to see big number go down fast.

Great art, great sound effects!

I thought the quiz was a fun element as well.

I didn't really understand the point of the motivation meter tbh.

Thought this was a cool concept, ton of potential. Well done!

This was a fun concept with a ton of potential!

Really good visuals and audio.

I enjoyed the snappiness of the gameplay and the intensity of dodging all the incoming objects while on the orbiting track! The controls feel awkward though and a different configuration would be welcome. I also never really understood what the "boom" does.

Overall a very creative implementation of the theme and core game loop, well done!

Thank you much for playing! The animation IS so clean, our artist absolutely killed it!

I wish we had time to do sound, I’d get someone dedicated for audio next time!

I play the games of everyone who comments so I will certainly swing by yours :)

Thanks again!

Had a good time!

I enjoyed tapping my way to some good distance, and the upgrades go a long way for the gameplay progression.

I really like the pixel are for the guy and the propellor hat.

The little elements on the ground like the slide and the swing were fun to encounter for that extra last bit of run.

I would have liked to see a window on the initial launch where your propellor hat doesn't register the lmb, mainly because I wanted to see how much my clicking contributed to the initial spin and letting physics take the wheel for a moment. I also felt like I was wasting propellor charges unintentionally in the initial phase until I hesitated spamming lmb before launch.

I also would like a bit more telegraphing of chocolate and money in the sky, because otherwise it felt like a small window to react to.

Overall this was a fun entry, well done!

Had a good time!

The gayblade designs were great, and I love how they all just had normal names lol.

Charging up the spin was fun once I understood how to do it, very small window to understand but in a way I like how you learn as you go.

Was a nice time going around and knocking out other gayblades (funny sentence to type out)

Well done!

This was a cool theme implementation for a Slay the Spire like game!

I enjoyed the visuals and music, they added a lot to the overall experience. I hit sound effect in combat would have elevated the battle experience!

The spin the wheel aspect of combat was cool, choosing what your options would be especially based on the enemy forecast was very creative.

I was confused on how the slots on the combat wheel reduced after a turn. I couldn't tell if it was being cut in half, or if there was something else to it. As well as the purple/black tile, that seemed to be a "pass" and reduce the wheel but I couldn't tell exactly how it worked.

Thought this was well done overall, congratulations on your teams first game!

Stellar game, among the best I've played so far! Made it to a score of 35216.

The amount of tension I felt hitting a gun game scratched that high-stakes "seriousness" that immersed me right into the game. All of the items and modifiers to the wheel I could purchase felt meaningful to get to my ultimate goal of winning.

Winning is what surprised me, because even though I got to the $5000 threshold to win, there isn't a cash out option (classic gambling behavior lol) so it became a survival game to not get killed. So my goal shifted to surviving the next 6 rounds and I was on edge the entire time. Some insurance with select items helped me get there, as well as some luck!

Fantastic visuals across the board, fantastic music and sound effects.

This game is so good that the only negatives I can speak about are just 2 bugs I encountered. Whenever you reset the game after a loss, the music stops playing so I had to refresh the page to a new session. Additionally, when you win the reset button doesn't work. That being said, even when those bugs happened I wanted to keep playing so they were just barriers rather than diminishing the overall experience.

Extremely well done. I hope you get a lot of eyes on this one!

Thank you so much, this has already made my day! It is always a thrill (and relief!) to know when the fun landed with someone.

Blue (co-creator and artist) did a beyond wonderful job translating this game idea and Mr. Serious himself to life visually. The visuals are certainly my favorite part!

Thanks so much for playing!

Got to round 10, had a fun time!

Sound effects are great, the goblins had me laughing when I heard them the first time. Very solid visuals as well!

When I first started playing, I honestly had a difficult time understanding how the swing worked. Despite the instructions saying smite is the space/lmb, I was under the impression it was also an attack button. Therefore, I thought the sword swing had an input delay for a minute or so until I understood it was automatically done when facing an enemy. Some clarity on that part in the instructions would go a long way for first impressions!

Once I understood how it worked, I enjoyed the gameplay loop, and the variety of options you have to purchase after each round (loved the fart upgrade)

I felt a little too powerful by the time I got to round 4 or 5, early enough that it felt like it took away the fun I was having in the first few round. Those power ups are too strong! The difficulty ramps up much more by round 9, but I was wanting that intensity by round 5!

Overall, I think this is extremely well made and has such a solid foundation, especially with difficulty tuning. Fantastic job!

It was really fun jumping into this and just having a slow drip of dirty clothes to deal with (just like real life but this is more fun and the clothes wash and dry faster!)

Watching the clothes spin around with physics for both the washer and dryer was a fun to watch!

The visuals felt like a cozy late night adult swim show.

The only confusing part was knowing when the clothes were clean, but especially knowing if they were dry or not. However it doesn't seem like there was a huge timer on those once they got going.

Had a good time playing, well done on getting this out!

Had a ton of fun with this, so much so I got the win screen :D

I really liked how this survivors-like adds the mouse wiggle to make it spin, Just an extra bit of engagement that made me feel powerful.

This game was also very funny!

The asset packs used definitely added to the overall enjoyment, and I thought they were very well implemented and enhanced the core game loop. I don't know if the mouse wiggling would have hit the same without the music haha.

One confusing part of the game was having seemingly reached a max level upgrade, but still being able to select it.

Overall had a great time!

(Also your developer intro is awesome)

I'm so glad you had a good experience with our game.  The art is my favorite part, and that is all thanks to Blue (themindofblue) and their hard work!

If there was anything I would have done differently for this game, it would have been to get a dedicated composer on board, because man even though I have a music background, I just had no time to implement some jingles I had in mind. I had a whole twilight-zone-like piece I wanted to make for at least an intro. I was too busy being a scrub working with godot lol.

Thank you so much for playing and for all the feedback!

Enjoyed my time playing!

Nearly falling off and having the spin save me is very satisfying.

Visuals were simple but effective!

I appreciate the sound effects added, although the collisions sound effects didn't seem to always line up.

Nicely done!

Not sure why but I can't play the exe :( the window opens but then closes right after

Had a fun time playing this!

The movement was a tad confusing at first but once I realized I was launching the hydrogen I enjoyed the momentum and the sort of "spin-and-go" feeling I could create as I navigated the levels. Losing when you stop spinning when a hydrogen was in the wall was a bit confusing as well, but that became clearer with your game instructions and easier to deal with once I knew how to move.

The levels were fun!

I really enjoyed the music, props to the composer.

Well done on making your game!

Currently lags out my browser so I played the executable instead and even that is a little laggy at the start even on hardware that should be able to handle it.

The game itself though, I really enjoyed how it matched into the theme of spin to win and it is a serious tone with a town destroying tornado!

I think the gameplay itself has potential, but without a clear win condition (destroying the whole town?) I felt like I had done what I wanted after my tornado died out a few minutes into my last session. I would have also welcomed a way to control the camera.

Your composer is fantastic, props to them and their work in this game! I really enjoyed the title track.

Overall, I see the vision. Congratulations on getting this out there!

This was a ton of fun and there's so much potential with this concept! I really enjoyed mastering the formless and circle shape physics to get through the level. Trying to find out how they worked best, like for jumping and momentum, kept me engaged until the end.

I wasn't sure how the triangle was intended to "help" me get through the level once I got to it, but I had fun with it's mechanic nonetheless.

A couple of bug notes, whenever you respawn at the start sometimes the camera is panned down more than when the game starts. This isn't game-breaking, the character is still plenty visible and it corrects itself by the first ramp. Additionally, not sure if this was intended, but the triangle only seems to launch when it is on a certain side (I assume the one on the ground when it first loads in)

Great job and congratulations on your first game!

Hahaha I’m glad Mr. Serious was able put some fear in you! With more time and experience on my end I would have given him an intro and music to lean on that a bit more.

It is a very hard game (more than intended)! If I were to share a tip I picked up as I tested, frogs are worth more “energy” so leaving one out and placing it a bit before he shows up should help keep the energy gauge higher before his arrival.

Thank you so much for the kind words and feedback! I love how laundry landed as a theme in this jam!

Thank you for playing and the for the kind words and feedback! The queue for Mr. Serious is definitely not as obvious as I’d like it to be (if you didn’t see a text timer in the top left please let me know!) and it can be very unforgiving.

I may go tweak the hover functionality to make those animals easier to pick up in this 24 hour bug fix window.

This was my first game and had a blast getting it out there, I will certainly keep developing :) thanks again!

Enjoyed my time! I really liked the instrumentation on the music track and the ambience it provided.

Ran into one recurring bug where you can't move after running into a wall going right, came up near the beginning and the 2nd level.

I learned the hard way what my best options were for the enemies lol.

Solid project!
