Will every character have some kind of hang-up when it comes to relationships? Sonya clearly has commitment issues, and Andre’s cliffhanger strongly hints he’s got his own baggage too.
Not that I was expecting something wildly different from a harem dating sim, but damn, this game has been smashing pretty much every trope I usually hate in the genre:
- Flat characters with no real personality or growth
- Barely any story (or way too much filler smut)
- NTR baits
- Game wanting the player to be paranoid because everybody is a bad person.
- Zero emotional intelligence from anyone
- Protagonists who are kind of awful but never face consequences
- Every single situation being hyper-sexualized, even when it makes no sense
And yet, even though this is a smut game, it’s genuinely refreshing to see the cast treated like actual people instead of walking sex objects when the scene isn’t about banging.
So yeah, when it came to the romance/relationship side of things, I was really hoping we’d get the same level of depth and subversion. Fingers crossed the later routes deliver on that front too.
All in all, from what I’ve played so far, this is easily one of the best games in the genre I’ve touched in a long time.
Quick suggestion: Is that would be really interesting to see people realizing just how damn much the MC gets to fucking but i get that this feature would be really complicated to write and develop. edit: it IS kinda funny that i can clearly see that a.i was used to go over the dialogs and texts, but other than the vocabulary it dont bother me that much, wouldnt be something that makes the game worse for me.
