Basically, armor only affects some rolls. For instance, if your opponent's damage die is 6, and you are wearing standard leather armor (see #47) you can reduce that roll from 6 to 5, saving yourself one damage. Chainmail, in contrast, reduces a roll of 6 to a roll of 3.

I got to experience this as a player yesterday. It’s wonderfully evocative and mythic, with hard choices to make. We all loved it.

Thanks! Fixed. I also needed to reference AD&D 2e, 1989, which included optional skills (non-weapon proficiencies). And I reformatted it so that pages 5 and 6 have everything needed to use this, including the skill move and all the skills.

Is there a free font you'd recommend? You can use the Affinity files to reformat to your heart's content.

Yes, in the summer I plan to update the moves based on any new winners from the configuration tool. And then I'll update the configuration tool to include games, new and revised, that have been published since the last time I updated it. In the meantime, I'm collecting feedback for any minor revisions that may be needed.
