No longer dead! Beta testing is currently occurring, and will hopefully be through with soon enough. Yay!

Thanks! Can't wait.

It looks interesting, but I'm not going to try to play a Metroidvania with a keyboard and mouse, and even though it says it's compatible with all game controllers my Xbox One controller doesn't seem to respond when trying to remap the controls. I'll try my other controller when I get home, but it's also an Xbox One controller, so I don't hold out much hope.

Appears so, yes. Unfortunate, this had a lot of potential. I'm especially grumpy that according to the Steam page they have it mostly finished at last posting, so they could at least release the more fully finished version...

Alright, so I've got to go and see if I missed a side-quest or something then. Is there a listing anywhere or them, or a walkthrough, or guide or something?

Appreciate the reply! Loved the game.

I'm... missing a sea shrine key I think. I've fully killed the shadow, and seen The End. as opposed to The End?. I've got all the items, I think, but I'm pretty sure I'm missing a shrine key. There's three, right?

(1 edit)

So, just making sure I completed everything, this is what my save file looks like. I got the "The End" screen twice, is there anything else to do? Or do I move on to the next one? Loved the game, btw. Sad it's so short, but understandable considering the platform and whatnot.

And just to double check, as far as the inventory is concerned, the bottom row should be: heart piece, potion, consumable key, then settings and quit? Or am I missing two things, because I only have potions in the bottom row.

I'm aware this is literally 4 years late, but I think I know how the door glitch they talked about works. In the Kraken fight, you can hit the two pots on the lower level that are by the lever, then you can get close enough to hit the lever with your sword, even though you aren't on the same level. Then even if you die the switch is still flipped, and the door is gone.

I mean, since in the beginning animation there was a female, at least one, maybe more, you might either redact those frames, or in the description you could say, instead of "anthropomorphic characters" just say "anthropomorphic men" or "males". Just a thought. I, too, did not notice the tags. That said, while not my cup of tea, I DID beat this version, and as far as gameplay it IS quite fun, so good job there. It also looks really good, nicely on the high end of 2D platformer, 2.5D really. Especially with the backgrounds.

NGL, I was disappointed... that it was so short. I would play the hell out of a sequel where he goes after the Shadow Wizard Money Gang. Please? Love this!

I like it, but, is there a menu I'm missing somewhere that lets you, like, exit the game? I've had to just force stop it so far. Maybe just an option under the ?
