I ended up finishing with 3 different endings in Date With Reigen Arataka in less than an hour. I was feeling a bit of game exhaustion before starting this, but it actually cured my burnout.

The game had really cute sprites I enjoyed. The backgrounds were drawn extremely well. I loved the layout of the game (it was creepy and funny!) and the music fit the overall theme perfectly! The plot was well written; I did feel like I was in a silly episode of Mob Psycho 100. But what stood out to me? The dialog!!

During my first play through, I chose the sillier options. And I genuinely laughed at some of them.

I've been playing emotionally charged and draining games for a few weeks now, I really needed to see what happened to Reigen and torture him (just a little). I had read the part about the typographer being a certified Reigen hater and it sent me into giggles. My favorite ending was actually a bad ending I felt may have been added just for them.

Overall, I'd give the it 5/5 stars. It really is a funny (and slightly deranged) game!

TwJ boasted 6 endings, a completion time of the entire game within 30 minutes, and a voiced Jester. So, of course, why wouldn't I want to check it out? Let me say, I was pleasantly surprised!

TwJ is a short game, but that didn't take away from it for me. (But I also love short routes.) Each route took about 5 minutes to complete, while using the skip previously read dialogue option shortened that quite a bit. Judging from my messages, it took me 23 minutes to get all endings. Navigating endings so I could complete them was easy. I did not get the same ending twice.

There are 4 Main endings + 2 Alternate endings. All of them were fun and easy. This was not a scary game (to me). There is no gore or extreme amounts of blood (there are maybe 2-3 smears in some endings). There also wasn't a 'bad' route end, exactly. They were all different and enjoyable. You could guess which type of ending it would be based off of dialogue options.

The art has one sprite and 2 backgrounds. Jester's sprite does change facial expressions. I genuinely adore his art. Its fun, colorful, and fits his character.

The va was incredible. I saw a few reviews saying that players took some time to warm up to his voice, but I didn't have that issue at all. It was a stereotypical clownesque voice and I loved it.

Overall, it was a fun and cute game. I really enjoyed it and I would play again!
