You tried to release an AI game into the jam a half a year before it opened when the jam has a no AI rule and you’re calling me slop

extremely creative and the visuals and sound design is very satisfying!
i think the mechanics can be a little more clearly conveyed. i know the controls are in the description, but having a clearer in game visual of your cards values going down and the controls would do some numbers
overall i think this is a really good start, and i think with a few tweaks this can be great!
pretty solid! the loop of bouncing back and forth from enemy to enemy felt nice!
i wish it was conveyed better that the dash stunned the enemies though, since i was completely lost for a couple of runs before i figured it out from an upgrade. i also think having the dash set to 'x' isn't the most comfortable using WASD to move.
i think there's potential here though, keep up the good work!
from one dracula boxing game named down for the count to another, this was a fun experience! i loved how you had to input button combinations to complete attacks, it was very engaging and kept me on my toes. the music was also BANGIN!
it took me a second to figure out dodging, though, as the indicator was a bit tough to see. i also wouldve loved to see a more noticeable difference between the first and second rounds to keep the momentum going.
regardless, very creative and fun experience! awesome job :)
Really creative take on the boxing dracula idea (one that my team did not take lol)
I think it did go on a little long, cause there's not a really crazy risk to getting knocked down since getting up is a very easy word challenge and resets the timer on your current punch. Maybe making the getup phrase progressively harder would do the trick there.
I love the WPM counter and the phrases are really fun to type and I was always waiting to see what came next from Van Hellswing.
Overall a very fun game!
