I am aware of what is being referred to here; the image of Sasha on the inventory/status screen (esc key on keyboard) will change after she has been penetrated in the lead-up to a h-scene, like so:

The Basilisk Capture scene is a bit different. When you get caught in a particular room of the Ship Graveyard, you will get the normal h-scene but instead of a gameover, the screen fades to black and you find yourself tied up inside a ship. You can either make an escape attempt in which case you have to slip past three Basilisks, or you can resign yourself to being trapped, in which case a Basilisk will walk up to Sasha and rape her, playing a unique h-scene. This will also lead to a unique gameover screen. If Sasha gets raped 5 times before escaping, either when she's tied up or by the other Basilisks in the area, you will get another unique gameover screen wherein Sasha is pregnant.

In summary: There's a particular room in the Ship Graveyard, get game-overed 5 or so times in the room and you'll get a unique game-over screen with pregnant Sasha.

There is one such scene that already exists on the Sasha route with the Basilisk Capture scene. If you get banged about 5 times in a row before escaping, you get a special game-over screen of a pregnant Sasha.

Why would you need to use an autoclicker to escape grabs? You either press your attack button (default left click on mouse+keyboard) to instantly escape at the cost of SP, or hold down your jump button (default right click on mouse+keyboard) to escape by filling the bar.

Depending on your state of undress, the time window to escape by holding down the jump button will vary, so you may end up needing to use the attack option and spend SP. If running out of SP is the problem your facing, then you may find it helpful to know that the blue torch in the bottom corner of the Ogre's arena can be consumed for SP and relit with either torches or fire magic and consumed again, potentially providing unlimited SP.

You need the Lotus tag and the Skull tag. Set your water spray can to Lotus tag and your other can to Skull tag, and paint the walls indicated by the arrows, like so:

If you're asking for Mizuki's (the Siren boss) h-scene, you want to lure her through the apartment into the labyrinth basement, and take her into the sewers with the Ghost Hands.

The Rifle is hidden in a cave in Makishima Island. Behind Clyde's house, there are some bushes you can cut away and find the cave entrance. It was moved to the cave from the Forest Sanctuary between v2 and v3

You need to lure Mizuki (the Siren boss) to break those blocks with her Cyclone attack. There's no way to break them, otherwise.

I agree that it can be somewhat difficult to manage SP, especially for new players (I struggled quite a bit in the old demo while I was learning the game). However, since then I have learned how to restore and manage my SP since then. There are a couple of ways to restore SP that I've found:

  • Resting at lit campfires (requires matches or fireballs)
  • Using recovery items, such as the Druid Potions
  • Interacting with blue torches, which can be re-lit with matches so that you can use them again. There are a few of these in the Thief Passage can help you out with your current struggles.
  • Certain headgears, such as the headphones you start with, provide very limited SP recovery. Probably the least useful SP recovery method but works well as a last resort for recovery.

Furthermore, to reduce SP usage, you can take off the clothes. This will reduce the SP costs of attacking, dodging and breaking free from enemy grapples. However, this comes at the cost of your defence. Further into the game, you can find a swimsuit, which similarly reduces SP cost but doesn't drop your defence stat to the same extent as nudity.

I hope this helps you out.

I could try write a walkthrough for people, but it would probably take a bit of time. As for progressing the game, once you get the old book, you need to make your way to the Looking Glass Isle. If you're not sure where it is, you teleport to it by interacting with dark blue crystals in the overworld.

They spawn in the middle of 4 rocks arranged like above. There are three in total, one on Seiryu Island (pictured), one one Big Tree Island, and one on Makishima Island.

Hope this helps with progression!

I'll get to writing up a walkthrough for the game.

Edit: I recommend keeping around a save file from before the final boss if you're looking to achieve 100% completion.

You should be able to get the rifle from a chest in the Forest Sanctuary dungeon on Seiryu Island.

I agree that it maybe quite hard for some players to solve the game's puzzles. I think that the two key clues to solving this puzzle was the box of rifle ammo (indicating that the player would need to use their rifle) and how you seem to only be able to interact with objects on the same level of elevation as you e.g., on Makishima Island, you first have to climb a tower before you can aim at the switch to open the Ship Graveyard.

One of the biggest helps for me, playing through this game for the first time on the v2.1.4 demo, was YouTube videos. In particular, Maltosier did a series (albeit incomplete) for v2.1.4, which is quite similar to v2.2.1 (current version); v2.1.4 only had the Walled Isle, Forest Sanctuary, Makishima Island, City of Mist, and hub island connecting them. I'd recommend looking through his videos if you get stuck again, since he played all the way up to the final boss but didn't beat her.

No, that's actually a somewhat secret area. You can find a switch and three chests; one with a cooked fish, one with a wheel that you use to open a door in the underwater ship and access the submachine gun, and one with all your items in it. I'm not sure if you can retrieve your money though, I've not found a way. If you've still a got a save file from before you were captured, you could use that to get your money back.

The third is in the area outside the boss arena. You get here by swimming but it is locked behind a gate that you open by shooting a switch from the boat with the locked door (there's a chest containing rifle ammunition where you should be standing). If you want the order that you hit them in, it is: boat, dark cavern (next to lone Basilisk at campfire), and then the area outside the boss arena. This combination will allow to access the key for the boat's door, and get the grenades which you use to access the key to the boss arena.

The switch and the gate (down in my picture because I am on my 100% save)

Where you stand to aim at the switch.

Hope this helps you to progress!

So I've just achieved 100% completion and I have to say that it was quite a challenge, with a very nice reward. It was tough but satisfying to finally achieve.

The puzzles were quite tough to figure out and combat can be challenging, though I don't find it as frustrating as others seem to - probably I'm biased since I've been playing for so long, and have come to understand the game's combat system. Pretty much the closest I've gotten to getting frustrated with the game was trying to beat the Mizuki with the katana, which I found very difficult due to her ability to combo attacks. I admit that was probably in part to the change in rooms, since I normally fight her in the massive flooded room for the space and pillar. I eventually gave up on using the katana - after getting a bit frustrated with being comboed - and decided to use instead aurora + rifle/shotgun and fireballs for when I was cursed, which I found to be an easier experience. I was able to beat her like this and, by the end, I had fun.

I do want to ask though, will there be some way to replay the boss fights in future? I did find it disappointing that I couldn't fight Dreadnought or Mizuki for a second time without having to play through the game on another save file. I am curious to see how the boss would stand up to my current, end-game gear.

Anyways, I've had an absolute blast playing this demo and I'm not sure what do now while I wait for further updates. Perhaps I'll try to speedrun the game.

As a fellow player, some advice I would offer for dealing with vine trap enemies is to simply try to move past them as quickly as possible, since you don't really have to kill them if you can dodge them. My preferred method is a jump followed up by a slide in mid-air. I have found this to an efficient movement option that provides enough i-frames to dodge most hits. Also you can escape grapples easier by spamming multiple movement keys (and also left and right clicks), since this fills the escape meter more rapidly. In regards to attacking vine trap enemies, I've found that fireballs, grenades, and melee attacks (with rifle bayonet, at least) are all effective, though when melee attacking I suggest using jump attacks. Guns can also kill, but you can't target the vine trap. In order to shoot one, you have to hit it indirectly by aiming at another enemy either in-between you and the vine trap or behind the vine trap.

Hope this helps with getting past those vines!

Hello, I just wanted to say that I've found an out-of-bounds glitch that I thought you would want to know about. In the Forest Sanctuary, from the basement, it is possible to break out of bounds by mashing the jump and slide buttons while simultaneously going up a set of stairs. From here, it is possible to enter the locked room as shown below and interact with the chest and the druid and save point upstairs. Also, when I opened the chest in the locked room, it crashed my game - I'm guessing because there's no item in the chest.

You can get grenades from a chest within this sunken ship:

However, the ship's door is locked and you need to get the key from another chest, which is locked behind some switch-blocks (not sure if that's the actual name).

There are three trigger-blocks on the map, which you must trigger in a specific order.

This is what I mean by trigger-blocks (I don't know the actual name for these either).

Also, there are some additional, chests in this particular zone, in image 3, that is locked behind a gate. You don't need to get back there unless you're going for 100% completion, though. If you want to get back here, I'll only say that I figured it out after going through the dev diaries.

Edit: After you get the grenades from the chest in the ship, grenades will be available for purchase. Additionally, if you hold grenades, it is possible for them to drop from some crates.

Are you stuck trying to find the grenades in the Ship Graveyard?

Pyre Woods has two exits that depend  on how got in.

If you came from Makishima Island via the shrine, you will be dropped next to a campfire. Go east to enter the next area, where there is the Druid (sells potions and Fireballs after defeating the Fly Boss) and another area to the east. In this area, you can go north and use a Fireball to access a chest with the Rifle Scope, and you can go east, across a bridge, to leave Pyre Woods and return to the shrine by jumping into a hollow tree stump.

If you came from City of Mist, you return the way you came in. Pyre Woods, as far as I can tell, doesn't change at all since earlier in the game, except that the previously hollow tree stump is now filled. I think it is only there so that the player can talk to Satcher (to buy ammunition) and the Druid (to buy potions).

Hope that helps!

Thanks for the help, I managed to gain the green hood. Still don't have the other items though, I think I'm going to have to try looking even harder.

So I have played through this and the previous demo, and am currently at 98% completion for this demo, and I have to say that this a great game that I have had a lot of fun playing. I enjoy the challenge and variety of enemies, and the variety of weapons to face them with. Personally, I have really taken to the Rifle as my favourite weapon. I love the environments and dungeons to explore, and the puzzles in each.

With that said, I am unsure of where to find the last 3 items in the City of Mist. I've beaten Mizuki - destroying both sets of cursed-flame-blocks in the maze and the cyclone blocks in the sewers - and I'm pretty sure that I've killed every enemy on the map at least once, including both harpies (unsure if there's three), and also spoken to both harpies, each giving the charms (I think they're called gale charms). I haven't managed to find the green cloak item that I've seen in some images. Do you have any hints on where I should look for these items?

Other than this, I have found all other items in the game, which has been a fun, albeit, somewhat difficult task. I am certain that I will enjoy any future demos or even devlog updates, and that I will enjoy future content that you produce.
