The art and general design is great! It's such a simple idea, but it's really effective for a jam this size. You can tell alot of time went into polishing the smaller details.

Hi Shadow, are you still looking for a team? My team is looking for 1 more programmer to lighten the load (I'm the only other one).
You can checkout my post here regarding the game we are making. https://itch.io/jam/road-trip-game-jam/topic/4488100/programmer-with-game-idea-l...

Hi! I made a post for recruiting here, https://itch.io/jam/road-trip-game-jam/topic/4488100/programmer-with-game-idea-l... if you want to take a look. We are currently looking for a 3d artist. I'm aiming for a medium sized team for a fairly large game (narrative focussed) in UE5. If you want to talk further, you can add me on discord @treerover
Our game will have graphic akin to Firewatch, so I think you'd be a great fit!
Thanks!

Here's a pitch for a game I plan on designing around: Think Mouthwashing vibes, with Firewatch visuals, but on a roadtrip!
"You and three other passengers wake up in a vintage 70s camper van, speeding down an endless, otherworldly highway under a twilight sky. None of you remembers getting on the van, yet you all feel an inexplicable connection to the road ahead—and to each other. A mysterious cassette player in the dashboard holds the key to unraveling your shared past, but every tape you play reshapes the highway and reveals fragments of forgotten memories. The road trip becomes a journey of self-discovery, collective storytelling, and survival as the highway begins to distort, introducing eldritch anomalies, cryptic road signs, and strange hitchhikers. Who are you, and why are you on this journey?"
Style: Stylized low-poly with neon-lit visuals
