Thank you! :)

Thank you so much! :)

I did voice them myself! Thanks for playing!

Thanks for the awesome review! I had a lot of fun making this game and I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Thank you so much! I'm really glad you enjoyed it, awesome to hear that discord brought you here. I've been working away at further polishing the game and adding more levels. I'm hoping to do a bigger release of it in the future so stay tuned! :)
Yeah, I agree the cat dying is kind of sad, especially since I love cats in real life. I kind of wonder if the traps I made should capture the cat instead of killing it haha

Thanks for playing! Yeah the rush timing on level 8 can be pretty tough!

Thank you so much for playing! Really happy you enjoyed it!

Yay! Protecting the obstinate cat is the vibe I was going for so I'm glad that came across! :) I changed things already in my own version of the game so that the mouse is visible when the bucket is placed. I also changed the dash key from D to Space after collecting feedback. Will update the web version with this and more levels once rating is over.

Sorry you had trouble with that level! The timing is definitely tricky on that one. I won't spoil it for others, but you have dash at a very exact time.

Thanks for playing!

The graphics and 3D models look amazing! I wasn't sure how many times I had to click on each piece of trash to pick it up, though. It seemed random haha. Overall, well done, congrats on your first game jam! :D

Thank you so much! I've changed things so the mouse cursor shows when the bucket is placed in my own version of the game, along with a few other quality of life improvements (and designed a 9th level)! Just have to wait for the rating deadline to pass so I can upload it :)

Thank you for playing!

Thanks! Yeah I was a bit worried about level 5 because it seemed potentially harder than the level afterward. But I didn't want to throw too much at the player when introducing the dashes.

Haha, that worked out well!

Oh, wow! Using a track pad to play this is next level! That sounds really difficult. Honestly,  I have a desktop computer and didn't even consider mouseless setups when I was making the game! I've put control remapping options and visible mouse upon bucket placement on the to-do list for later. :) Thanks for playing

Been playing this some more. I really do love everything about this game! It's really inspiring that you made it all within 9 days. It's really fun and the tutorial blurbs are actually really well done.

Wow what a stellar review! I really want to make a hardcore mode and more levels now.

Haha I'd laugh so hard if my silly sfx won an award lol! Thanks so much for playing and leaving such wonderful feedback!

Haha I love cats too (I have two of them at home). They were probably part of what inspired this game. Thankfully, no real cats were harmed in the making of it. ;) ... apart from the fact that I didn't give them as much attention as they wanted as I pushed the gas pedal to the floor to finish working on it.   They're both curled up on my lap as I write this though. Thank you so much for the 5 star audio! :)

Yeah, difficulty progression was one of the harder things about making a game like this. And I'm definitely going to add the mouse cursor when the bucket is dropped after judging ends. Thanks for playing!

So glad you enjoyed the sfx and level design :)

I really like this unique twist on the classic fishing mini-game! I think I might like it even more than stardew's fishing! I wish the music had looped in the web version (I figured out in my game that you have to change audio stream options in project settings to get it to loop in web builds). Maybe the difficulty of the fishing could have ramped up more as you caught more fish? It was pretty easy but I see the vision.

Too bad about the shop getting bugged but I hope you keep working on this or use it to inspire future projects.

Really awesome work!

It was a combination of the tutorial pop-ups at the start, and then the game pausing to play out an animation. Both together just felt like a lot of stopping and starting. But the tutorial windows stopped popping up pretty quickly and I got used to the game pausing for the animations. It makes sense why it's needed so I rescind that bit of feedback haha

Really cool submission! One of my favorite games so far from this jam that I've played. I wish there was a way to turn off the game "pausing" every few seconds as it seemed to disrupt the flow of the game a bit. But overall, really fun! Also the animations for the damage numbers and gold was very well done!

Although the game felt quite buggy still, it felt like an ambitious project what with real time combat and so many mechanics and a hot bar, etc so it's understandable. I really liked the art, music, and overall feel of the game. The controls might feel better if the character was a little less floaty in the air.

Fun game. Love love love the music and the controls felt very smooth. Thank you for letting the player continue to the next day with "space"! It felt very natural. I plan to come back to this one and play more.

Oh yeah good call! I should have brought the mouse back while the bucket was placed - that totally slipped past my radar. Thanks for playing!

Aw thank you, I love your game too!

I love the brotato-inspired feel (I've played A LOT of brotato). Unfortunately I couldn't get past the early game because there were so many bean enemies that seemed really hard to kill (I read the instructions in the description, but maybe I was doing something wrong?) Some variety in the map tiles would have made the game look more interesting. With some re-balancing of the early levels, I think this game could be even better.

Cool game! It took me a bit to figure out how followers are repurposed, but after the first time I died, I understood. However, I haven't been able to figure out what gold does, and why anyone would ever repurpose the followers as farmers. They feel so much weaker than the rest. I love the upgrade system and how smooth the circular unlocking animations feel! Made the knights pretty strong by getting certain upgrades to the swords.

What a charming game! I love the art style and the whole game feels really unique. It must have taken a lot of time to write all those articles about each animal/building combination! Well done, I love it.

Thank you so much! The sound effects were something alright! I got pretty tired of listening to them after testing the game for a week haha! But they were fun to make

Thanks so much and I love your display picture! It looks like one of my cats in real life (an orange cat named Mango). :)
Yeah there's honestly a lot more I could have done with this game, I kinda want to keep working on it

Thanks for the feedback. I had never heard of One Hour One Life so I looked it up. Looks really unique!

LOVE this game! The art is charming, the audio is so unique and fits the charming and quirky art style nicely. The difficulty ramped up perfectly and the last two levels were challenging but not impossible.

Overall I'm super impressed with how polished it is too.

Awesome submission! I don't usually love tower defense games but I found myself sucked into this one. :)
Simple but nice looking art with a great use of colors! And the music sounds amazing - it suited the game and was really varied throughout! I'd love to know what software was used in recording the track!

Thanks for the detailed feedback! Level progression is a hard thing to get right in a game like this so I'm glad it felt good to you. I wanted to make even harder levels but ran out of time.

I thought about changing the dash button but couldn't think of a good alternative. Space might have been the best option I think. I'll save that for future potential updates. :)

Yeah I definitely would have liked to add more uses for the bucket. I had other ideas, like using it to block projectiles and somehow using it to change the direction of the cat. Alas, 1 week jams are always too short to fit in all the content I want to include. Need to improve my coding speed! Thanks again for playing.

Glad you liked the sfx lol. They were fun to make!

Haha somewhat inspired by them but I didn't have time to make it very rhythmic :P

Thanks! My partner said it reminded her of Geometry Dash too. :) Haha yeah poor cat indeed!

Thanks for playing! Level 8 is tough haha
