Juegazo muchachos!

Tremendo trabajo <3

Excellent game!

I think the maps are way too big and feel empty most of the time, but, I really like what it proposes! <3

Oooh yeah, when creating the project on itch it asks you what to call it, you're right!
Thanks for explaining it to me xD

Oh what a noble objective :')

Keep going as you are and you'll surely do it!

( you already gathered some people in front of my pc so the tv is not that far away <3 )

Pretty basic but functional. It's okay for a begginer I guess.

This are the things that I think that need a look:
* The map is way too big, the player movement is not that fast to rapidly explore it and find the small items required to complete the game.
* There's no reason for the player to actually kill the enemies. In this case the player is way faster than the zombies so they never catch the player and since there are not that many zombies, the player can just evade them. By this I mean that there's not that much difficulty.
* For some reason the main character and the zombies are represented with bunny sprites. This breaks the coherence that the player was following on the intro and the images presented to give context.
* I already mentioned that there's no reason to shoot the enemies but even if the player wants to, the reload time is a bit too much. The zombies take almost 2 magazines to kill and with the big reload time it just solidifies the strategy of just not shoot and walk away.

Also, some nice addition could be to add indicators towards the items so the player at least knows in which direction can move to start gathering the items.

Pretty nice first game!

Visualy is very good but it feels very buggy. The double jump mechanic feels weird since the height of the jump always varies and the collitions with the floor sometimes seem to stop the player from getting any higher so the combination of both things while trying to get somewhere high are very unsatisfying.

Still, after getting a bit used to the game, I could complete the 5 levels :D

Congratulations! <3

One of the most beautiful games I played on the jam. The palette is literal eye candy and this mixed with a short point and click game about organizing a room is a pretty good combination <3

Fantastic entry! <3

The art is excellent! The style is gives a really nice earie vibe and the mechanics are really great. The sound design is great too <3

I'll come back to play this one for sure <3

Good take on the theme!
It was kind of annoying to see all my process gone when I took the wrong direction. I think the game it's pretty slow but clrearly that's the intention xD

Good game! <3

Loved the concept!

I would've liked to be able to interact with the nomads tho, maybe guide them to resources. Also, i'm curious, does the location of where I put the clouds affect the game in some way? i mean, should the player be looking to make rain in different places or is the same?

Hmmm I don't understand what the game is about, plus the text and the menu is barely readable.

Curious about why itch calles this "cartridge" instead of "Game".

Best title in the jam xD

It's pretty simple but there's something about it that makes it feel very nostalgic. Excellent game! <3

Wow pretty good game!

Everything is so in tune is increadible that this was all achieved during the jam! Kind of minimalist but the level design and the respawn mechanics make it really really fun <3

Congratulations!

(1 edit)

This is the best i could do :')

Pretty good game! I agree with the rest about the character being too fast, but, after playing it a few times it becomes manageable.

The art style is beautiful <3

Cool game!
The pixel is great :)

The only thing to point out is that being able to double jump is never mentioned, I basically stumbled upon it while trying to jump from the moving plataform to the right ledge for like the 15th time xD

Besides that it's pretty good for a first game! <3

loved the pixel art! The game it's fun but i think that maybe the difficulty its pretty high from the start. Maybe the player should be able to bury at least one coffin without much trouble, at leaste once,  and then start building up from there.

Also, i don't know what it was but at random moments i stopped being able to control the character and had to refresh the page to play again, loosing the progress I had u.u

Even so, the game is pretty polished! great game for a jam! <3

Excellent!

I'll give it a try for sure! <3

Hmmm I think the games is pretty confusing. The UI and the map exploration is confusing as well and it bugs at some points so that doesn't help.

Since the game is pretty much text-based, I think the information should be given to the player in a more efficient way. Maybe a tutorial or some guiding through the gameplay would be cool! <3

For some reason the dialogue of the npc kept getting cut so i couldn't understand very well how to complete the process to sort the souls. Also, at some point the my character got stuck with one of the souls on one of the machines at the top xD

The pixel art is pretty good! <3

Nice game!

I think that having a dash mechanic that's only horizontal in a game in which the movement is so essential is kind of weird, but, the game works pretty well!

Okay this game definetly makes things weird xD

There's no explanation to what the player has to do. Judging by the title and the reaction of the character walking, it seems that the player has to bother him so he keeps walking towards a direction but he just keeps walking and walking. The art is good!

I like this concept, it feels like the player has to earn the continue xD

It's really fun!

It doesn't seem to be working :(

Precision plataformers are not my type of games so I can't get very far on this one xD

The game lacks visual appeal to me but I can see that the mechanics are very polished!

Visually it looks pretty good but i'm really bad at this type of game and i couldn't figure out the puzzle u.u

I realized that the puzzle changes everytime you start the game! Nice detail!

Really really good concept! It looks beautiful, the transition between the reflection and the living world is insanely good! <3

The gameplay itself it's pretty simple but the plot and the visual really compensate it.

Excellent work! <3

Damn the artwork looks insane <3

I would love to try it when it's playable!

Thank you! <3

Now that you mention it, we never thought of an option to give up or a pause menu even. Very valious feedback!

Thanks for playing our game!

Thank you so much! <3

Even if the sprites a bit small, I worked really hard on them! <3

Glad you enjoyed the game!

Oh what a nice concept!
I think the game lacks a bit of content but still it's pretty fun to play a few rounds <3

Oh i love this type of game xD
The mechanic is pretty simple but very unique! The art is very unique too! i love it <3

Excellent game! <3

What a cute game :'3

I love how everything looks <3 Also, the transition between normal view and possesed view is amazing! <3

Great game!

Even if the concept it's simple, the execution it's excellent! The sound effects and the visuals are on point too. This is a very good base to star building up <3

Wow excellent game!

I'm not a big fan of precision plataformers (i don't really enjoy getting frustrated every 2 jumps xD) but the level of polish on this game really made me want to get to the end. The art is really well done and the animation are on point too. As it is, it's far better than most of the f2p games on steam, excellent work  <3

Oh, the only issue I had is that, in some jumps, the legs and the torso ended up being separated by the corner of a block and even if I tried to swing back or just move closer, it was imposible to reunite the parts. I think that maybe being able to switch control between the torso and the legs could be a way of solving this issue!

Really fun and adictive concept!

Clearly there's still polish to be done, but, even in this state is pretty fun to play!

The physics of the cristals is pretty chaotic. I don't know if it was intended (maybe the ghosts were messing with the cristals to annoy the player) or it's just bugged.

Still, pretty good game! <3

Hard to believe that this level of polish on all the aspects of the game was achieved on a jam!

I fell in love with it instantly. The art is really well made, the fx, filters, everything <3

Had a blast playing it with my friends! Excellent work! <3

Oh i've been really excited to play this one since I saw it on the discord server!

I loved it! The pixel art and the animations are amazing <3

That transition from the menu to the gameplay was awesome too!

Excellent work!

Really nice game!

I really liked that zombie society xD I wanna know more about that Zombie Chad!

The pixel art is amazing and very well executed. The only thing i could suggest to take a look at is the fact that you can exit some windows with E and others with ESC so a lot of times, instead of closing the windows i was looking at, i just popped another one on top xD

I know that this type of games thrive on stressing the player but i don't know if this was the intention in this case.

Excellent work!

Thanks so much for the comment! <3

I haven't been able to try your game yet but i'm looking forward to it <3

could you upload it to another itch account and pass the link?
