I like the concept but I wish the overall gameplay loop were a bit more satisfying. Like Farly said, there aren't many creature types and I wish there were something to really grab me. maybe the game just isn't for me. I do admire the polish with the art and sound and color palette and everything though! Nice work on this game.

always a fan of a PICO-8 game. I liked the concept but like kastelle said, I wish there was some way to make it harder as time ticked by as it was too easy to manage the sand coming down. I thought the hourglass flipping animation was slick and the accompanying sound was nice too. All in all, a well-executed idea. nice work!
this one was really good. loved the take on the theme and the turn-based combat, and also really funny to think about us falling for that long. I think to really sell the idea of mid-air combat, animations could've been faster, and a real-time replay of the floor could be shown after each floor. but these are small things - the gameplay is already engaging and fun. nice work to your new team!
really loved the concept but unfortunately the clunkiness of the controls and the fact that I got reset to the beginning (but my character didn't) when I died definitely decreased my overall enjoyment of the game. I think there is real potential here for puzzles and would've loved to see it expanded further. good work with this and congrats to the team!
a cute concept and I had fun while I was surviving, but it felt unbalanced how certain bullets could fire at times that were basically unblockable. I know it's probably difficult to make that not happen given the random nature of the gameplay, but it still affected my experience. In the end I'm a sucker for rhythm games so I had a good time with this one.
loved their little voices and even though it's a small game it shows a lot of heart. i concur with the commenter below me, at first I thought it was too easy but then it quickly got away from me. three little gnomes lost their lives due to my incompetence... not sure how I will recover. lovely work here
creative spin on the theme and I liked the playful aesthetic. the bomb defusal mechanic was pretty annoying for me and just felt like I was typing in a password or something, took away from the fun. Some bugs with the chores too, like I couldn't fill up the right water bowl. I think this concept is good and just needs a little more polish to be great.

i've seen several games with a similar concept in this jam but this one is the most creative just from the narrative alone. I like how every run is one year passing. I kinda forgot about that until the end when it said it took me 20 years to reach the final location, even though I'd only played for around 15 minutes. I do wish the controls were a bit tighter, I slipped into water several times which killed my flow and made me frustrated. Also, I discovered that you could climb the vines by accident, and I wish that mechanic was communicated better. In the end though I greatly enjoyed this and if these mechanics were taken further I would totally play a full version.
nice platforming! Visual novels aren't really my thing so I sped through those parts but was able to understand the story (and, having just taken a class on Programming Languages, creating a high-level language + transpiler in less than 3 days is impressive to say the least... I'm sure our protagonist would find success anywhere). Nice work!
