Sandal Punk is a top-down shooter and a boss rush. In my opinion the Greek-punk style makes this game different from others, the main reason are the buffs which are a combination of the Greek mythology, such as the Hermes boots, and scientific advances, like protein, steroids and a bullet proof vest.
You can tell how the bosses have different fight styles and that's very interesting because you need to find a different strategy to defeat them and beat your time.
I would have loved to see more player mechanics like a shield and a parry o special abilities like a charged bullet.
Even though the story is nothing to write home about, it gives the game an answer to the questions "Who are I'm playing as?" and "Why am I in an arena?".
Overall, I really liked this game. It's fun and I have found myself playing for hours trying to beat my times and searching for the perfect combination of items.
The Golem is completely broken, please nerf it.
