how do the saves work

so Ive been playing and like it is a bit like minesweeper, you get info from the abilities and stuff. like if it says nine or higher its a higher chance that is a vampire, but a lot still seems like random chance maybe someone knows.

I think I understand but it feels like there's no strategy, thought it was like minesweeper but you dont get enough info, can someone PLEASE explain.

I do enjoy the concept but the sensitivity on movement to zoom in and out and to move around the map is quite high. and may be just me but i'd like to move things once built or placed and rotated.
