Actually, it's glitched it seems. Good catch. I will upload a bug fix today. Glad you enjoyed it, if I were to remake it I'd lean way more into the cuteness.

Really solid entry. Graphics and sounds might be simple, but you really nailed some design aspects: Great execution, great mechanics progression,  tutorial by doing,  each puzzle is unique.  Impressive work.

Glitches and sound aside, being a solo dev on this, I'd say you did pretty dang great. The mid-game was pretty hooking, and the 3 different mechanics/screens really started to hit a good balance of my attention.  Also the dialogue was good, slightly surprising direction and blended into the scene well.

No you're the GOAT! Impressive amount of love put into this visually with assets, particles, glow, animations, etc. Also, quite well programmed and designed. No brainbusting puzzle, but it drew me along to the end. Well done all around.

Really impressed by the animations, art,  and polish on the game. Concept fits the theme well too. Restarting every mistake was tough, but lucky I got some of that dark souls payoff after beating the big beetle. Also, getting new music tracks constantly was nice.

Great game. Compliments on the wordless tutorial and I like the central mechanic. also I was surprised when the ghosts popped up, it was a neat twist to add more flavor to the mechanic, had me dying in random spots looking for ghosts.

Great game. Art is superb, the UI is snappy and polished, and the characterizations feel unique and come across well in such a short window. A lot of good elements were brought together quickly, well done.

Yeah, you're right. The theme forced me to skew towards death, but otherwise I'd make it much more drawn out, easier and adorable focused. It was really fun to build the systems, so who knows, might expand it.

Yeah, either mobile or desktop pet would be cool. Good note, I've adjusted the viewport size and also added a hint about zooming out the browser window in the description. Thanks!

Thanks, slimes just be cute, ya know!

Yeah, I didn't signpost enough that dying was a normal step to early gameplay, 4 days went quick! I appreciate the kind words, though!

THANKS! The bath ended up being my favor part too and my son really wanted to help, so I let him do the slime noises you hear in the game.

Really solid game. Fed the Brotato player in me, while still having an interesting twist.

Conceptually hilarious, because now I know the reason behind the dogs playing poker painting, they were trying to afford biscuits. I had fun, enjoyed music, lol'd at trying to buy hotdog.

To Improve, you may want to make more considerations when designing gameplay and stress test the system:

  • I could change my bet mid-hand, so eventually I'd just bet max when I knew I'd win and 0 when I'd lose.
  • I know you mention Ace is only 11, but Blackjack is an existing game, so it feels like a step backwards to not have it 1 or 11. Frustrating to bust on what should be 21 (Example: K 2 A 8)

Honestly fun in it's simplicity. Got me thinking like an ant, trying to guess where the shoe would land. Also, extremely on theme, lol. Well done.

You need to include instructions on how to play and controls, at least on the game's profile page.

I really enjoyed the work put in to give the game it's own feel and vibe, with story and cinematic sweeps. The music does well to reinforce it too.  Also, I'm almost certain the intro was a megaman reference.  :)

I've always said the most important part of a Bepisman game is that it really makes you feel like spiderman. A+

I assume other people's Godot games worked? If you got time, try this link in Safari. I'd test it myself, but I have no apple products. It's possible I could be using too old a version of Godot or something, an oversight on my part, sorry. :[

Godot 4's HTML5 exports currently cannot run on macOS and iOS due to upstream bugs with SharedArrayBuffer and WebGL 2.0.

Sorry. I'll see if I can figure out if anyone has found a solution, but the current workaround is to use Chrome or Firefox instead of safari.

Note: I'm not super knowledge on export stuff yet, so I could be wrong. I'll research today.

Thanks, I'm so happy to hear that. Glad you enjoyed it.

I'm curious to get more insight on the driving issue, if you have time. My goal was chaotic driving, so lots of crashes, blocked intersections, driving into oncoming traffic.

But I already know you're right, because  way too late into development I tried making the yellow roads into 2-lane highways, before realizing it would have required a refactor of ai drivers. So had to scrap it. :P

Awesome, after hours of play testing I worried it was too meticulous, but I'm glad to hear people are enjoying it.

Thank you! That means a lot to me. Yeah, I used to have the red cars pass through each other, but coming upon a intersection with a 12 car pileup was just too funny  and it makes you seek alternate routes.

Only having this issue with Chrome, was fine in firefox, could just be me:

Surprisingly fun for what it is. The wind and combos make the game.

I knew it must be something, lol! I didn't know you use different keyboards, sorry for my ignorance.

Solid Troll. +50 db... 3/5 stars.

What is even going on, is it just me? Why is Z = Walk Forward and Q = Walk Left? Even connecting a controller provides no deadzone or input strength, so it's almost impossible to stop moving. How does this even happen?

Super appreciate it, I had my doubts but I'm glad to see people enjoying it, even if just for a few minutes.

Gooooood. Lol. The intended experience is swearing at the screen.

Glad to see it submitted! :D Love me a body swappin game, not enough of them.

Great sprites and tiles, great animations, movement is smooth. Just all around great. Awesome work allowing button configs too, appreciate all the polish.

If I could offer feedback, it'd be to switch up the default controls to W - fly, A/D-Left Right and Spacebar for pickup and ESC for Pause. It felt wayyy more natural, personally.

I lol'd hard at the scrawled writings at first, but man did they evolve into just a pure guessing game. Worth a the laugh.

Thanks! 👍 ..now i can have closure. lol

Great game, I really like how well the mechanics compliment the character's design. Also.. 8th puzzle piece (row2,col1).. i need to know where or I will lose my mind. Anyways, fun stuff!
