Hi everyone!
I came across this game through social media and noticed it had a free demo earlier today. Since then, I've been playing and walking around Retroronto and having a blast. The art and music are adorable, colourful, and best of all feel like they capture the city's spirit. I absolutely can't wait until the game releases, it's honestly a breath of fresh air.
There are so many details that make the city feel alive and just like Toronto: from the local history in the library to all the landmarks (city hall, union station, and more), the transit system (classic red buses and streetcars - love it) and the struggle to make your own way in a busy city. This is no small feat and I'm happy to see Toronto get this representation in gaming.
If you've read this far and haven't tried the game yet, speaking as a resident of Toronto, I would strongly encourage you to check the game out.
Kudos to the developers!
Warm regards,
