That's simply my favorite game so far. Amazing job i had so much fun and the effects + music where so satisfying. You are an inspiration for what I can achieve in unreal or as game dev. Thank you again for trying my game as well and hope to see you again in the next GMTK game Jam and hope you end up in the top 10. I could genuinely play this game for hours, i love it

Thank you for playing my game and thank your feedback! :)
As for your question, no particular reason. I just started learning 3 weeks ago and to me it was easier initial to set up functions (for instance attach the cube) as a separate button rather than releasing the button or pressing it again. After going throught this effort of really trying myself I can see why it was wrong and now I could easily change it. The goal was primarly to challenge myself in a given time and reinforced what I learning so far in C++ -> triggerzone, delegates, actor component and these "basic" stuff and even though it was quite simple I still understimated how long it would take because of how many bugs i faced and couldnt tackle in time quality of life improvements like button (didn't think of it), mouse sensitivity, sound effects, music, menu, feeling less "floaty" when we jump, lighting etc.
But you are right it would have been much better if it was in one button I will actually polish it on the side and implement your advice thank you!
I am so impressed really, can't believe you did all this in such a sort period of time it is so inspiring. I love everything about the game. The gameplay, the sound, the narration, the graphics, everything!
The fact that there was a full well thought tutorial on top of everything is amazing. To me this game is perfect and honestly you are an inspiration to me.

Yeah there is a little bug in this room where if you take the green and place it slightly too late on the pillar it will open the door and eventually teleport back causing the door to shutdown behind you and you won't be able to go back to get the red cell. I forgot to create a corridor so the player could run back in case this would happen
I loved this game! I don't know what's more impressive, the fact that you did that in only one week or the fact that i found myself loving organising some books hahaha!
It's so cool that you added this talent tree and upgrades throughout the game. Both themes timing and out of place were perfectly achieved.
It is so smooth, the music suits the vibe, the animations are great, truly inspiring. I hope one day I can match your skills!
