Hey man, I'll be using this health bar in my FOSS engine, hope it's alright.

It would be nice if you could use some sort of explicit license to avoid any misunderstanding about the intended use of your work.

It would be nice though if you could add a formal license to your work so there is no ambiguity to the expected use of it. For the comments below, I suggest something like the WTFPL or (if the sense of humor is not of your taste) one of the Creative Commons licenses (the CC option should fit your needs).

yep, it works better now.

And you may index the colors if you wish, smaller file with no difference in appearance.

I'm getting some edge bleeding with OpenGl, I believe it would be better if each frame had some padding around it to accommodate magnification and "minification".

The process of clipping each tile involves some rounding from integers to floating point, which may also create artifacts when the drawing goes all the way to the edges.

Maybe 4px? Making it 40x40px.

(considering, of course, that you are interested in supporting developers like me)

If possible, please take a loot at something like Creative Commons licenses or even something like the WTFPL, they are very basic and simple to understand, but it makes clear your intended use of the work.

I just don't understand how to create the animation effect as you present it since all the images have the same width. Could you explain it in more details?

I'm building a foss engine under GPL3 and this asset you created is very interesting, it would made clear on my examples that it is a template for a character.

But your license terms make it ambiguous if I can use it in this context since I would have to pack your image files with the code to make it usable.

As you understand it, Is this considered "redistribution"?

Maybe you could consider using one of the Creative Commons licenses to avoid this ambiguity in the terms of use?
