yeah feedback is for sure something that I should’ve added, even a little white flash would’ve gone a long way.

Thanks for the feedback and thanks for playing the game :)

thanks for playing and the comment.

When I was thinking of ideas I fell in love with the concept, initially I had planned on it being more than just a boss fight but due to time it didn’t work out which also gave me less time to add a lot of much needed polish, also adding that final layer or two of polish is definitely something I still struggle as when I gamedev and I want to get better at it.

Now I gotta check out this pico 8 game lol

Nice game, I thought it was rather satisfying to do pretty much anything in this game, also love the chains they are super cool. I found the health bar rather confusing though Im assuming it decayed over time and then it refilled when you gained combo or something, so hopefully that is right. Music and are are also super effective and nice to look at and listen to

This is a nice game, movement speed and the +motivation on trash pickup is 100% the way to go at least for me it was, had fun trying to break the game like that. A music volume slider or mute button wouldve been a nice touch.

Cute little game, final time I ended up scoring was a 33.28

yeah I definitely agree with you there, initially I wanted it to be a dash but then I thought of that animation and found it funny enough to want to put that in instead, but then when it all came together it definitely didn’t feel right. I think either making it a dash or changing it so that the enter exit time is much quicker but it has a shorter use time and is much faster might’ve felt better to play

edit - thanks for playing and the feedback :)

Thanks for playing and the kind words.
Yeah I had that thought of making the boss flash white whenever they take damage, not sure why I didn't do it, I think I just forgot eventually but I think that is usually super easy to do generally speaking.

yeah I was debating putting in a health bar for the boss or not, but probably would've been a nice addition. And I think its more an issue with the fire hitbox lingering longer than maybe it should on that attack. Probably should've made it disappear sooner since I definitely noticed the same thing.

Thanks for the comment and playing :)

thank you :) <3

Thanks for playing and for the comment :)

Thanks for playing

Yeah i totally get wheat you mean once the tunnels come in. Becomes a lot having to double check every single floor tile that you place.

Thanks for playing and commentating

I like that idea of having the little starting section and/or another key section of the level be highlighted for you to have something to work towards other than just blank space, thats a nice idea

Thanks for playing the game, yeah I really liked the concept too, it was a lot of fun to make. I think the main thing that I don't explicitly say in game which is most likely where the confusion comes from is how to tell the difference between ice and floor if its in a corner or next to a wall. Basically if you slide onto a tile and then without touching anything bonk the wall that means the tile is ice whereas if you slide onto a tile and stop immediately without bonking into anything that means that the tile is normal floor and not ice.

But also yeah I level select mechanic would be nice to add just in case you want a refresher or skip over it too quickly I agree

Had a great time playing this one, my god the one round upgrades are powerful huh, they do kind of trivialize the game but thats probably the point, and just holding right and watching my character fly was an incredible feeling. I also liked the story as well, great ending, now sure how i didnt see it coming. :)

Very cool game, I gotta say I really love the art for this one and the cool little trinkets on the map were a nice fun touch. I got kinda confused at the gameplay and like what the actual end goal of the game was. Also not really sure what the stats meant but maybe I'm just going crazy and missed where it was but overall cute game with some cute creatures

Thank you for playing and taking the time to comment I really appreciate it :)

Pretty cool game, somehow during the first hammer level I just missed it completely but still beat the level probably because of random clicking at one point, replayed through the game to figure that out but once i did it was cool.

The one part of the gameplay I was not a fan of was getting dragged back to the dog bed, it seems like there should be a punishment for getting caught as the dog but honestly every time I was caught and had to watch the slow drag to the bed I just found myself instead just restarting the level.

Very cool game though, fun stuff :)

Thanks for playing my game, and for writing the comment. Yeah the art definitely leaves a lot to be desired for sure, something like replacing the wall to be more brick nature and the floor to be more dirt pathing definitely would have been the better way to go.

As for the level you got stuck on if you head straight down from the point you are in the picture you should hit a wall before you reach the bottom, there is a horizontal line of wall not connected to the outside wall, hopefully that helps

Thank you so much for playing the game and commenting, I really appreciate it.

Yeah searching for that last bit is definitely annoying, now I'm imagining a hint button that while it doesn't tell you the exact tile that is wrong because that seems like too much instead it would give you a 3x3 or 5x5 area to go back to for something that you have missed. I like that idea a lot for sure so thank you :)

Thanks for Playing and glad to hear you enjoyed the game. Definitely agree that some sort of fill tool is definitely nice especially for most of the early levels as they get rather tedious, I couldn't think of how I would implement that, but a fill all empty squares button is a great work around that I didn't think about. So thank you for your comment and suggestion

Thank you so much for playing the game. Glad to hear that you enjoyed it, one big criticism with my last project was they couldn't understand the gameplay so Im super happy that it sounds like my tutorial messages were clear enough to understand the game.
Thank you for taking the type to write out criticism as well, I really want to make things that people are able to enjoy and I always want to have more things to work on or think about the next time I make something.

The art definitely leaves a lot to be desired, definitely just one place as a whole that I need to put some time into improving or at the very least coming up with something other than just flat colors

Yeah after thinking about it I totally feel you about the level complete box, it is definitely satisfying in a puzzle game to be able to look back at your completed work and just admire it, so either making that transparent or maybe appear in the mostly empty right third of the screen was the way to go.

That is definitely true that some scenarios are like that, and honestly even thinking about it now still not sure how I would tackle that problem except to state that ladders must connect to some ground and some wall, which probably would have been a good move.
Thanks again for the criticism and for playing my game in the first place and for the luck with future works.

I hope you have a lovely rest of your day. <3

I love little incremental games, quick progression is just one of my favorite things. and this definitely scratches that itch for me. The sound design is really satisfying and the art is simple and clean. Only thing I wish I had was a way to auto collect the money because in some of the later levels on the web version the bills were causing a fair bit of lag. I loved it a lot

This totally feels like something that you could get insanely good at, but oh man would it take some time. This is one of those games where I'd love to see a speedrun of someone who knows what they are doing. Great game and extremely well made

thanks for playing and the feedback.

Yeah in hindsight probably should’ve made that button say flip coins/roll dice/ draw cards depending on the level, and disincentivized repeatedly guessing incorrectly in some way

Fun Game, I enjoyed the build I ended up going with mainly using the twin daggers and freezing them only being 1 reroll to activate and then getting multiple every time 3 items trigger stuff. Good stuff, very fun small game. The only thing that I found annoying was accidentally hovering over an item when I was trying to reroll a number to I'd have to move my mouse away and carefully back onto the number.

thanks for playing, yeah just loaded it up and realized it doesn’t have the upgrade text. I wonder if it’s how I imported the text not translating to a web version correctly. I used a csv file and imported the text into the game that way. So I’m guessing it has something to do with the csv file.

Yeah I thought the same thing about the stun, I added a little bit but there probably should have been more.

thanks for the feedback and for playing :)

Pretty Fun stuff, although when I was playing the web version in the first 2 levels I found it easier to just run past all the enemies and then in the 3rd level there are too many enemies and it lags the web version. It is a pretty cool speed game though. I love the movement with sprint crouching feeling incredible. Fun stuff

Thanks for playing and the feedback! :), Let me know if anything comes to mind that could have made it easier to get used to, so that I can keep it in mind the next time I make a game

The bad ending is definitely the more enjoyable one to get lol, all the cool stuff with the monster. And thanks for the compliment on the art, still a ways to go, but I was really happy with how these turned out, and Im excited to do more.

Thanks for Playing :)

Nice Thanks for playing through to the end of the game. :) I thought it would be more interesting to have staying human lead to more challenging gameplay, but I wonder if I couldve done that while still keeping the fun aspect of staying human similar to that of staying beast. But yeah moving up making you face right is something I encountered and just sort of forgot about, im sure thats such an easy fix too

thanks for the comment! :)

Still not the best artist but I really enjoyed making it and I was pretty satisfied with how it turned out, still a lot to improve on if I want to keep doing my own art though lol.

Yeah I agree the last of up and down attacking was annoying even when I was playtesting, definitely something to keep in mind for the future. I was mostly just trying to not overwhelm myself too much with the art.

And yeah the sacrificing health for power I liked a lot once I thought about, really clicked with the idea I had in mind of losing yourself to the beast

This gameified version of Hole in the Wall was pretty sweet. I had some trouble with the controls, but thats fine, I felt as though it was really hard to tell the orientation of the walls if they were coming from the sides of the screen. But overall an enjoyable experience for sure

This game was very fun, me and a friend played 2 rounds. One thing is that once all the blocks become unpushable, by being next to 2 walls, or 1 wall and another block, you just have to wait for the time to run out. Also our first game we encounted a bug where the cubes and the displayed score were desynced which made me win when I shouldnt have at least visually speaking. It was very fun though and we had a good laugh while playing it, so good stuff

This seems like a super cool game, I didnt rate it yet as I might play the downloadable build at a late time, but I did just want to comment that as someone with bad eyesight the red/blue effect on the text makes it really uncomfortable for me to read.

This was a fun time. I won on the first try by getting a percentile warrior die. Also if you have a warrior die and only use it once per turn it never goes on cooldown, not sure if this was intentional but thats something. Very fun game, I enjoyed it a lot

I really like the art and the music for this. The gameplay though was rather confusing, Im not really sure what the difference was between the +2 effect and just having a card with a higher number on it. Also it wasnt super obvious that the - sign meant the lowest card wins, I would suggest putting the symbols in the help menu next to the descriptions. Pretty cool idea though, Ive been thinking about RPS like games too and this is cool

This game is incredibly adorable, I loved it. Had a good laugh while playing it. Space song sounded like Zelda's Lullaby, not sure if that was intentional or not. Very cute and a fun laugh

Pretty fun platformer, not a whole lot of puzzle element. I thought the art was really nice and the music was very relaxing. I felt the controls were very slidey and hard to control at times. Also the first button after you get the bear should probably be visible, it took me like 3 times just jumping until I realized it was there. And the rabbit probably shouldnt just be able to launch themselves while they are already flying. It felt pretty good to play a second time through once i got a handle of the controls though. Fun Stuff

(1 edit)

Yeah I probably should have given more time upfront and then gave less time with each item you had to collect just so the early gamer wasnt as bad as it was.
Thanks for playing and the comment <3
