I see, thank you! You could definitely play with those pieces & the cards quite easily

I hadn’t heard of da Vinci’s challenge but just ordered a copy haha. It looks like the board is the same pattern, but the mechanics are quite different.
I agree that scoring needs some balancing. I actually have found that the legends, and even the crows, are too hard to achieve, and so the winner almost always ends up with three pumpkins.
I’m curious what other information you would expect to see in the sell sheet? It could definitely use some polishing and the print and play is very bare, but I’m not sure how much more specific the Sell Sheet should be.
Thanks for the feedback!
I might be biased because I love word games, but I absolutely love the concept of spell to move! Seems like it would be a blast to be trying to spell a word with the exact right number of letters.
Without thorough playtesting there’s a bit of feedback I had just based on the rule set. One thing I noticed in the rulebook was the crow was decided by a dice roll. I almost wonder if it would make more sense for you to need to land on the crow space so that it reduces the randomness and add some stakes for the exact length of your word? Also, it sounded like the win condition was being closest to a gate once the third incantation was achieved, but maybe if someone had to pass through the gate with the third incantation it might give other players a chance to spell their word?
Such an awesome concept and thank you for sharing!
