Replying to myself - it seems to find the save game more reliably on Chrome.

Loved the game. Some observations:
* Newly upgraded tools felt like they moved slower than the older tools. Even if they harvested more in the same amount of time. Difference was barely noticeable. In a way, the slower movement gave the new tool more weight and mass, which could be what you wanted. Even so, giving the new tool maybe 30% more harvesting ability would be more noticeable, and give more of a sense of 'woah!' Also more true to real life.
* Enjoyed the ground floor forest level. Second level was a bit of a grind. Third level desert I got fed up of the grind and ended up cheating (?) most of both the third & 4th levels through being able to almost fill then take back my resources in the two shops. Each time I take back, I get about 20% more than I gave. Which was a better use of time than grinding. Eg give 100 leather, get back 120 leather, give 120 leather, get back 150 leather .... give 600 leather get 750 back etc. Was able to get all 3 tool upgrades and most of the black market stuff in a few minutes like this. More enjoyable than grinding bags of rubbish. I do suggest you think of reducing the grind for 3rd level onwards or giving alternate ways of getting large amounts.
* Third level desert - I was exploring it in the dark and fell through the world at the edge of the map. Seems a boundary error. Couldn't make it happen in the light, but seems I can travel through all outer boundaries when in the dark. Almost certainly a bug, but it does seem you could make this part of the horror theme if you wanted.
* 5 level flesh (incomplete) - I was able to jump on top of the furnace and from there jump to the top of the lighthouse. Don't know if this is intended but it was fun. Another comment mentioned a 10,000 furnace up there, but I didn't see any sign of it. Has it gone? Entering the top of the lighthouse results in being thrown to the edge of the map. Quite fun, and something you could do more with.
Hope this feedback has been helpful!
Lovely concept, reminds me of some the dwarf incremental that have come out recently (not a bad thing).
Bug: running the game on Mac web browser shrinks the game itself into 1/4th the width and height of the Godot game window. This doesn't respond to changing browser scale. The prestige tree screen is full size though in the Godot window. Same on Safari and Chrome. I could only play it by changing my display resolution to something like 800 x 600.
Comments:
* It wasn't clear that you have to prestige before the dragon wakes up. I lost several prestige points by this, but the prestige point counter didn't reset. In the end I completed the game with only two prestige points so couldn't explore the prestige tree at all.
* after opening the barracks, then only making one warrior, then having the dragon wake up, I was returned to the game with a whole array of warriors that I'd never made.
Hi! I'm British and played your game. I've only just started and it's wonderful!
One important thing: the notebook found in the player's pockets says 'Perhaps someone has snuck poison into my gin?'
No! Snuck is modern(ish) American English, not Victorian British English! In the 1880s it was only just starting to be seen in print and only in the US, never in Britain. Even in the US, it was seen as rural farm boy speech; all examples of 'snuck' from that time are quotes of Ohio farmers and the like. It certainly doesn't match the educated tone of the rest of the writing. And it would never have been used by a British writer, especially not in the 1880s.
Even now in the 2020s snuck is still mostly not accepted as a word in the UK, and rarely appears in UK-based dictionaries.

This unfortunately pulled me rather out of the game. Words do mean a lot to me and I hope you can change that word. As it's part of an image, probably not.
But thanks for making a game so good that it's inspired me to leave this detailed comment.
I'm already way past these limits and no sign of slowdown or soft-capping.
Lovely game.
EDIT: I spoke too soon. Game became unplayable for me after prestige 8. Was at maybe planet 28 before prestiging then planet 1 was unplayable. That suggests maybe an issue with very small values because planet 1 will be tiny at that point.
I see someone else got to planet 33+, which implies the rendering of planet 1 is system dependent. Changing browser zoom magnification or display resolution didn't make a difference on my system.
Until save is implemented, no point in reloading the game to see if reload makes a difference.
All the fonts are tiny and I can't read anything. Making the game full screen results in a huge playing area with lots of tiny boxes of unreadable fonts.
(MacOS, same problem in both Chrome and Safari, huge monitor) Looks like you have set fonts to fixed size. Some of us need everything enlarged to read.
