No no, the keyboard issues were definitely a problem on my end!

Incredibly cool movement and the animation of pushing the chair backwards is just perfect! Only thing I would critique (but you adressed this in another comment already) is that I would have liked a proper introduction - I needed a bit of time to get a hang of the game! But still, very nice

This is the most anime game name ever... :D

Fun fact: I discovered this game because the arrow was pointing at mine in the list xD

And I'm glad I did: I like the interpretation of "spinning" the conversation (as well as spinning literally), dialogue is written very good as well! I also like the 2.5D (I don't know if you call it that) Art!

The beginning took me out xD - Very cool game and creative use of the theme! Also, very serious topic!

I like how you managed to combine the randomness of "spinning the wheel" (or gun, in this case) with player agency through the cards! Very creative Idea, and fits the theme extremely well! I enjoyed the game quite a lot

Have to agree with the others; The beginning felt a bit slow but after the first few upgrades it got very addicting! Also, very serious and yet still funny theme!

It's a Platformer a bit like "Getting Over It" (but less frustrating and hard, I promise ;))

Very cool, very fleshed out game! Wasn't expecting so many levels! Couldn't finish every single one sadly, my brain is too smooth for that xD

Cool game! I don't know why but somehow my keyboard bugged and my entire first run was without moving... (made it to round 6, I guess that's an achievement) - Then when my keyboard finally worked again I played the game correctly and have to say: Very cool, was a lot of fun! I managed to beat it in the end!

Thanks for playing! I guess we were both influenced by Celeste in some way ;)

Thank you for playing! Yeah, without a mouse playing the game is much more difficult - glad you still had a good time though :)

Thank you! I agree - the games movement is definitely hard to master! We only recently got our playthrough time down from 10 minutes to 2:42!

Thank you for playing! Glad you enjoyed it :)

Thank you for playing!

We've actually just recorded a developer playthrough of the game and uploaded it to Youtube! Feel free to watch it if you want to see the rest of the game - maybe you can even spot one or two dev tricks and try again ;)

Thank you! Just tried your game and left a rating! :)

I mean I think geting ambience and sounds from Pixabay is not bad (I do it this way too, lol) - It's still a skill to make sure everything fits together cohesively, and that certaily worked perfectly in your game! I definitely see the celeste inspiration, and that's meant as a big compliment!

Cool Game, I like the Idea of performing gravity slingshots to get further. It's pretty hard to control though and I died a lot - but at least this way I got to see more of the quotes xD

It's a platformer inspired by "Getting Over It"!

Rated your game before (but couldn't beat it sadly)

Here is my game in case you are up for it: https://grumelkeks.itch.io/coptercap

I thought there would be a timer at the end, so I didn't measure the time, but I'm probably on track for the slowest playthrough of your game :'D (never played FNAF so I was very cautious)

If you wanna speedrun my game; dev "highscore" is 2:42 seconds: https://grumelkeks.itch.io/coptercap

Here's my Platformer: https://grumelkeks.itch.io/coptercap

Wow, this is probably the game I spent the most amount of time with so far! The progress is just so addicting and the growing skill tree surprised me. I almost got all updates, but the last ones took a bit too long (at least for me) to unlock, so I was missing one or two when I stopped - but insanely good game!

I have to give MAJOR props for the art and sound! Especially the "intro" sequence where the character jumps behind a rock and two agents pass through felt like from a bigger game!

Gameplay was cool but a bit hard for me - controlling the different abilities with c, d, x and z was a bit fiddly (especially in the area with the two guards)

Nice! Reminds me of WarioWare, and I like how spinning is used in every minigame. My favorite was either the pottery or the maze!

Just rated your game; Here is mine: https://grumelkeks.itch.io/coptercap

Have fun and thank you for playing already!

It's a Platformer with unique movement mechanics!

I like the mechanic of controlling the orb and it controlls pretty intuitively - I think it couldn't have been done better. I was just a bit confused at times what to really do (e.g. the keys in the first room). Congrats!

Very cool controls! And I have to say the way to control the orb is pretty intuitive. I have to say that I was a bit confused in the first room, but after that I got the hang of it. If you wanna try my Platformer game inspired by games like "Getting Over It": https://grumelkeks.itch.io/coptercap

A rating would be much appreciated :)

If you're up for a short Platformer, check out Copter Cap: https://grumelkeks.itch.io/coptercap

It's at least a bit inspired by games like "Getting Over It", featuring unique and easy to learn, hard to master movement (we got our time down from 10+ Minutes to just about 2 Minutes recently!)

If you're in for a short platformer inspired by "Getting over it", here's my game: https://grumelkeks.itch.io/coptercap

Have fun!

Extremely cool horror game and perfect use of the "spin" theme! I have to say, I haven't finished it completely (my nerves wouldn't have handled it well ':)) but I really enjoyed the game nonetheless!

Hey man, I also couldn't beat it completely because I'm not very good with horror, but it's such a cool game! Congrats

Really cool game! I like how it's a pretty simple concept on the surface but makes for puzzles that are pretty hard to solve at times.

If you wanna try a platformer inspired by "Getting over it" (but less frustrating, I promise ;))

This is such a cool game! An interesting, simple concept executed perfectly. I can't even begin to think about how hard level design for this would have been...

One of my favourite games of the jam so far! Only thing I would love to have been in the game is something like e.g. a counter how many diamonds you have already collected :)

A short platformer inspired by "Getting over it" - Easy to learn, hard to master, but we got the completion time down to two minutes :)

Discord is: Tobinotron

I learned that sometimes less is more: I normally always created a few high-energy, looping tracks for my games - but this time opted for just a few chords with enough breathing room in between and a bigger focus on making the SFX sound good (adaptive spinning noise depending on strength, a rope stretching sound as feedback for some of the movements, ...). I feel like this was such an important choice for our game, which is quite hard and can be played for 10+ minutes if someone tries to 100% complete it.

Another thing I learned: scaling the volume + pitch of a looping audio depending on some gameplay / user input factors really ties everything together!
