Thank you for the response, and the notification!
I'm already both very excited for and profoundly dreading the playing of it, which is pretty much the ideal for a horror game.

A well-crafted gaming experience, you perfectly nailed an atmosphere of dread, despite the confines of a game jam's time limit! Really has the feel of one of those stranger, little-known PS1 titles.
Enclosed is my playthrough - Admittedly I didn't get very far, the well-constructed atsmophere dissuaded me from diving for more valuable ores, thus I sort of played the game entirely wrong, so uh... Ignore that part where I thought I was constructive criticising but I was actually being a dope that hadn't read the tips and hints.
Brilliant. Genuinely brilliant, from the unique anime aesthetics to the voice acting to the intro that thoroughly took me off-guard, this game is a treasure and I had a blast playing it. Even if no episode 2 is created, this game stands up well on its own as a short, light-hearted spookum, and I highly recommend it.
Playthrough enclosed, for any wishing to witness how I did!
... I died a lot.
Big fan of Akuma Kira's works, but I didn't actually realise this was one of them until the credits. A short but brilliant experience, slowly but steadily builds up the suspense as you go, and really had me on the edge of my seat throughout. Highly recommended!
Playthrough enclosed, it's full of incoherent rambling.
A bit late to comment, but comment I shall! I was excited to try this one ever since I downloaded it, and the excitement paid off! The approach, pacing, ambience, it's all executed flawlessly, and the aesthetic truly gives it the vibe of an N64 Zelda-esque title, capturing the feelings that many of us had playing the game in our younger years. 10/10, I'll definitely be looking to play more games from Modus Interactive in the future.
Blind playthrough linked below, alongside a couple other short horror games from a collection that seems to have another of your titles in it.
