There are multiple download links, make sure you choose the most recent one. I believe it was October 4th? It was its final update as he finished the game.

Sorry you feel that way. Don't mean to insult your ego on anything. Also, what you're saying is he puts the steam game on itchio. They are two different games. And steam guidelines state you can't directly "upload" Steam games to another platform or location. If that's what you've been getting at this whole time then I apologize for the confusion.

None of the music should be copyrighted, you can play the whole game as it is without any issue.

You're over simplifying it. It's a different game, different code, different UI. Everything would break if he had just "dragged and dropped" it. But I think were both at a stand still on this so I say we just agree to disagree. Also no disrespect taken, as long as you don't get heated or rude for no reason and just state what you wanna say, that's just a conversation.

It's not a drag and drop. They are both differently coded, differently made. Dragging and dropping it would not work, because they are both different games. He can't update it, because he wont, its because you literally cant.

If you need to ignore context to make your argument make sense, your argument isn't a good argument. He even removed the payment option for the itcho option, but was still bullied because people go crazy for greed to get someone's hard work for free. Theres nothing simple about updating the itchio, because it's a different game, its not a drag and drop. Brother made two mistakes trying to please his fans, but was met with nothing but hate and backlash and honestly the most valid reason to give "wishy washy" responses to the disrespect. 

They're two separate games, there is no "simply" updating it.

I personally don't agree, but to each their own opinion. Thank you for not just bashing my opinion like most of the comments here. Taking the last of us remake for example. Same game, had to buy it again. They overhauled the graphics and mechanics, but the story stayed the same. The remake for that's not my neighbor did the same thing. Overhauled the mechanics, added some new ones, a new game category to remake the entire apartment with custom tenants. I'd call it a remake and not a update.

The difference is that the remake has a different build. So the UI is different and so is the mechanics. It's got some quality of life improvements from the itcho version, but play similarly. 

Its only $3. He brought the price down so that we could buy it after figuring out he can only give out 100 keys. 

Plus its not even a sequel either so it wouldn't make sense.

Game was not marketed as anything you just said. It was marketed as a remake. and it is a remake. if he wanted extra cash he wouldn't of discounted it for $3, a favor he didn't have to do. 

It is a remake. Its a different build. The itcho version uses a different version of Godot. The Steam version is a different version. Look at the local files if you don't believe me. It even plays different. They are separate builds.

He's just rage baiting at this point brother. You said clear as day why he can't just drag and drop it. He looked at that wall of text and said "I aint reading all that" and assumed you didn't talk about it.

If you bought the game more than 90 days ago, you're not getting a refund. He can't do anything about that. He even explains it in the devlog. Do your research, don't listen to random trolls on the internet like this guy.

No where has he said that, you're pulling words from your butthole. Would love to see some proof, but I know you know that I know you're full of it.

If you bought the game more than 90 days ago you can't. If you purchased it recently, you're still out of luck I think since he's pretty much been bullied to not care anymore.

Couldn't of said it better myself. Had he looked into his promises and whether he could actually do them or not, it would be a different story. Honestly it could just be people who got into the hype and didn't like the game so now they're trying to get their money back 2 years later and the game free. Scummy, but who knows.

They don't deserve THIS much criticism though. His promises weren't empty, they were ill educated. He has apologized and done all he could, but that still makes people lose their minds some how.

I'm sorry this is all happening to you Samabro. I know it sucks reading all the comments, but I hope that stress doesn't make you ignore the fact that you made a mistake and that doesn't make you a bad person as much as the people try to make you out as over $3. If I knew this was going to happen, I would of spent more than the $20 I sent you for the itcho version. You deserve compassion and praise for your time spent. Don't give up on me buddy, I better see more from you. I know you got more to show.
