Hi! I'm Tinnitus, and this is Sleeper District — a first-person horror game set in a Soviet panel apartment block, December 24–31, 1999.
You live on the 4th floor. Outside: a frozen, empty courtyard. Inside: your whole life in one small flat. And it is not entirely safe either.
What's already in the game:
• A fully explorable khrushchyovka apartment: lamps and switches, curtains you can close at night, running water, a wall clock that ticks in real time
• PS1-style look: low-poly models, dithered pixels, shaky vertices
• 3D sound that travels through walls and doors — you can hear what's behind a closed one
• The whole apartment is your stash. But mice (and worse) may take what you don't hide well
• A week from bare late autumn to snowy New Year's Eve
There's no playable build yet. This page is the first step: I'm claiming the name, gathering feedback and showing progress. The first demo will be posted here and in the devlog.
Questions for you:
1. Which mood do you prefer — quiet, lonely dread or more active danger?
2. What details of a Soviet flat would you like to find inside?
3. Do you play with headphones? I'm putting a lot of work into sound.
Tell me what you think, even in one line. It really helps. Thanks for dropping by!
