Yesssss thank you so much, Undertale was a bit of inspiration and tried to convey a bit of that in here! Narrative wise though, if I could and had better skills would definitely expand more on!
Really love the work and the art style and very nice choice of music. Loved the characters and got to be honest the fairy guardian totally reminded me of Navi from Legend of Zelda so definitely had me smiling whenever their pop up came up.
Overall loved this platformer and had fun playing it :)
Thank you so very much for your nice and kind words! I have been writing short stories since I was young and am on the fence whether I will turn this into a (now that I did this for the game jam) or turn it into a book of sorts. Definitely want to get better at game development and try to expand on this though :)
YESSSSSSSSS there is indeed a very loaded story!!!!! I wanted to find a way to make it in the game but then i realised i only had a few days for the game jam and wasn't able to expand more on it! Would love to work on this some more :)

Took me a bit to get the hang of the mechanics and to understand what each plant does but overall it was very good and absolutely loved the plants and their sprites.
