Great game! solid game play and sound effects. The only real challenge I had was that several enemies would get stuck outside the play zone and super slowly, like 1 pixel per second speed, move till they made it into the play area. It made it harder to find the ends of the waves at times. Other than that very enjoyable!

Yeah, I had a little change with the sound effects. I have an effect playing when the shield power up is used, but I think it's too quiet to hear. One for moving the shield would be good too! Thanks for playing!

Thank you! I've never heard of touhou but I'll have to check it out!

Matching the waves was a bit more challenging than I expected! Great work though! It's like a simplified Papers Please kind of game! A little more sound, or character details would give it less of the repetitive feel of just clicking red or green

Great core mechanics! The invisible wall that stops you from getting anywhere close to the edges of the map is a little hard to gauge because there is no visual cue for it. You just hit a wall that you can't pass while your enemies can move past it freely. Great start to the game though!

Definitely felt like a bit of a  mashing game but was super easy to understand! Great work and I loved the music

Thank you! I agree on the color changing aspect, a little better UI could make it more intuitive. I'd have to try out the single key cycle to see if the feel was still good or not. Thanks for the feedback and enjoy the game!

Great music! I think having the characters attack reach be a bit longer would have made it slightly more enjoyable because it felt like any time I tried to attack I would first get damaged due to the short attack range. Maybe it's just a skill issue though haha

Nice! It took me a moment to figure out that I needed to press the space bar to block objects but once I did it made way more sense haha! Super solid game play mechanics. I'd love a little background music but the sound effects are clean. Great work!

Great work! I love the story and the mechanics o harpooning. The only major improvement would be speeding up the dialogue a little. There are moments in the story set up where you are stuck looking at 4 words for about 10 seconds with no way to move on. Still super fun!

Great work! It took a moment to get the hang of the throwing controls but then it was super simple and enjoyable

Nice! I don't know if others had this glitch, but whenever I spoke to someone, it would layer another background music track. Still great stuff!

changing the weights would add a lot more realism to the physics, great idea! I also need to fix some of the collision shapes in there too!

Thanks for the suggestion! I was a little pressed for time because my original game plan fell apart with only 3 days to spare so a few things felt kind of rushed. I was hoping to implement the back and forth axis as well but didn't get around to it in the time. Definitely later though!

Thanks! Yeah, I had a limited number of assets to randomly choose from, but I’m glad you enjoyed it!

Hey Peter369, give my game a shot! It's only three levels, but depending on your skill you might take a few minutes. The longest time I've recorded was just over 4 minutes, and the fastest time so far was my buddy, who finished in under 33 seconds.

Great job! Only a couple thoughts here:

- Needs sound

- There is no consequence of how you play it because there is no timer or any way to mess up.

It runs really smoothly though and the controls are easy and quick so great job!

Okay thank you! That's what I thought, but just wanted to confirm it

Are we allowed to make some changes to our game during the voting period?

Thanks for the advice! I actually thought of doing that, but didn't want to risk missing the submition deadline because it was my very first game. I'll try to update it after the competition!
