Thank you! The game took me about two years of part-time work to make, and then we also did about 6 months of work on updates to get it to it's current state.

Unfortunately I'm probably not going to add any major new content into the game, my plan right now is to mainly just fix bugs and add support for several more languages. But I would really like to make a sequel or another game in this setting in the future!

Hey there. If what you're planning to write is just online fanfiction that you share with your friends, then of course there's no problem with that, you don't really need my permission. However, I can't endorse an officially or commercially released book set in the Metal Garden universe, as that would cause a number of legal issues for me.

Also, speaking as a fellow creative, I'd hugely advise against situating your own large works in other people's IPs and settings. Making a game or writing a book is a ton of work, and you don't want access to it to remain at the whim of an IP holder.

If you're really set on writing this book, I would suggest making your own distinct universe and situating your story within it. Not only will this mean you own your book in it's entirety, but it will also mean you get to make any changes or additions that you want since you'll be working from a fresh base.

Hope this was able to answer your question.

Unfortunately probably not, there's a number of technical issues in porting the game to the mac platform.

If you plan to leave a review, then buying on Steam helps me out a lot more, since more reviews lead to much better visibility and Steam has a much bigger userbase than Itch. If you don't plan to leave a review, then buying on Itch helps me out more because of the bigger cut :)

Hey, glad to hear you think so! If you plan on leaving a review on Steam, that's indeed going to be more helpful, since getting over that initial hurdle could be quite difficult for me. Thank you for the concern, by the way!

Hey, thank you very much! I'm glad you enjoyed it! :)
