I just wanted to share a small but meaningful milestone: someone bought the game. One person out there took a chance on Things Left Forgotten and entered a world where memory decays, history fractures, and you choose what to preserve. To whoever you are—thank you. You’ve made this real.
With that first copy out in the world, I’ve been thinking about what comes next. A few ideas are in motion:
Campaign Expansions
The core rulebook already hints at broader stories like The Trial of Sands and The Clockwork City. I'm planning to flesh these out into full-length Story Expansions, complete with:
- Regional maps
- Faction goals and tensions
- NPC hooks and ruminations
- Rumor tables and faction pressure
- Optional Time Skips and consequences
Visual Art Book
I'm talking with friends about putting together a free visual companion to Liminal Archive. This would be a digital art book exploring:
- Character archetypes (Magi, Laborers, Architects...)
- Factions like the Black-Mohr or Bridge Alliance
- Locations such as LeVerne, Vernudir, and the Trial of Sands
- The Gloam in visual form: decay, resonance, void
It would be released as a free PDF with optional tipping, especially as a thank-you to those who’ve supported the game early.
If you’ve read the book, played a session, or even just like the vibe—let me know what you’d love to see more of. Encounters? Maps? Music? Weird occult pamphlets?
I’m just getting started, and your feedback helps shape what comes next.
Everything is not going to be okay. But some things are still worth remembering.
