You have to build within the ring around Alice (so move over to the spot you wanna build basically)

hey, thanks for checking it out
the upgrade thing is kind of fair, on hard mode you basically have to route the perfect single strategy. normal mode’s a bit more forgiving though, so you can mess around more there. (though having just one tower is definitely very limiting in creative strategies)
as for “no skill required”, i’m honestly jealous, i still haven’t cleared hard myself :D (thanks for the feedback either way)
The presentation is really good, the art is super cute, and the music fits the tone. The writing was good too, the dialogue was quite fun.
Gameplay wise though, I think it’s way too close to Plants vs. Zombies. All four units have nearly identical functions as in PVZ, and the enemy types also directly correspond. Because of that, it ends up feeling more like a clone than its own idea.
Now the base mechanics are implemented well and clearly work fine, it just feels like you could do more to differentiate it from PVZ. Maybe some unique unit interactions, Touhou inspired twists, or special enemy gimmicks, or anything really.
Now difficulty wise, I beat it easily on my first try without taking any damage, so adding some challenge or pacing adjustments could make it more engaging.
Game was lots of fun!! I have 2 complaints though: The arrows in the first section were very hard to see due to bad contrast with the background, and WHY IS THERE A RESTART BUTTON THAT PUTS YOU AT THE BEGINNING I PRESSED THAT LIKE 4 TIMES ANUIHAOSgbfYIHU AOSFnhisgduifnzoo
otherwise as I said great game, well done :)
Hey, thanks so much for playing and for the feedback! :] I hadn’t really considered the needle issue, but that’s a great point, I’ll definitely keep it in mind for a future patch. I get what you mean about the item containers too, I see how they can get frustrating in large numbers. Really glad you still had a great time on stream! :]
Wow, thanks for checking it out! Super cool to hear your thoughts. And yeah, the game can get pretty hard, (sometimes too hard). That’s why I added an “Easier” mode (it’s not called “Easy” for a reason though :)) ).
As for the lack of a walking animation, that was purely a time constraint. Also the counter for certain items is definitely a nice QoL feature I might add in a future patch. Thanks for the amazing feedback!

pretty ok game but look at my piece of master
