Glad you liked it an thanks for the feedback!
It definitely starts a bit slow then snowballs almost too fast for the amount of upgrades and currency floating around.
Thanks for the kind words!
Performance is in need of an improvement for sure. Especially when you have multiple chained lightnings or shockwaves constantly spinning! I’ve got a few more sfx recorded but they weren’t as good as the original batch I made so they didn’t make the cut for the jam submission.
Pretty fun game and nicely polished. Luck was not on my side and it took me a very long time to make any money even after putting a solid amount of slots onto the big wheel.
I also kept having a weird bug where my mouse would randomly flip me in a direction I was not looking in which made it difficult to play.
Loved the atmosphere and feeling of the game. Definitely a little ambitious for a game jam but I think it plays very well.
I wish the “spinning” mechanics shared some more functionality between the different stations as it was a little disorienting hopping between different spinning mechanics.
Overall its pretty fun and really pleasing to play
Takes some getting used to. The stat labels are a lot to take in at first but once you understand whats happening its quite fun.
I really love the hand drawn art style for everything.
The game can be quite hard and if you’re playing like me you can ruin your wheel at first before you understand how to play fully.
The sound design and music is very satisfying. Movement controls are a little difficult to use. I found it easiest to just position myself in a spot where I could see most planets and just not move again.
It can be hard to grab fast moving planets with the gravity drag, and I’m not sure what the white hole does. It was fun though
