What an interesting automatic attack mechanic — it fits the jam theme really well. It really does feel like a metroidvania. I experienced some difficulties, such as being attacked VERY quickly by enemies right after switching areas. The art and sound are spot on. Overall, I found the game difficult; it’s quite strange not being able to attack with inputs lol, but it’s a really AWESOME idea.

Despite getting soft-locked in one part of the game, I really liked the concept, and from the little of the story that I was exposed to (I didn’t manage to finish everything), I had a lot of fun. I wasn’t expecting a symbiote-related story.
The visuals look great, and I liked the way everything was animated.
The controls are responsive and pleasant to use.

This game seems to have great potential. I was very interested in the story and in the meaning of the giant eye that keeps watching us. In terms of gameplay, I struggled quite a bit to understand the room-switching system, and I also didn’t understand how to reach some platforms. The way I found was to jump on top of enemies, but I take damage when doing that, so I think I’m doing it wrong. However, I wasn’t able to figure out the correct way to do it.

The game concept is really fun!
It made me frustrated at some points, as some game design decisions felt a bit odd (like dinosaurs appearing in the industrial era and not taking damage in the first level, but taking damage in the second). However, I imagine these kinds of decisions were made in a rush, and they don’t detract from the fun aspect of the game. It was totally worth playing.
The third level (the futuristic one) was the one that felt the strangest to me. It seemed like the platforms weren’t moving at the same speed, which created difficulty and a very long waiting time to perform actions. Or maybe i was too anxious to conquer the victory XD
The art was beautiful!
Congratulations to the entire team for the idea, and thanks for the game! I’d love to see more of this project!
