Sorry to disappoint you, but this was made in GameMaker Studio 1.4. It's an older version, so that's why it seems to be compatible with Windows 7. As for why it has few ratings, I think I'll blame that on myself for not having a web-build. Unfortunately, the older version of GameMaker Studio doesn't support exporting to HTML5 without some weird jank that would need to happen. I tried exporting the file to GameMaker Studio 2 and then building it in HTML5, but the game didn't work properly. So I have to stick to EXE for this project. It's a tiny EXE though, just like 4-6 MB.

This is a very clever puzzle game. I really enjoy the thought of just being a slime trying to get by, feeling the wrath of adventurers if caught. It's pretty cute, I love it!

This is very much a fidget game, and I enjoyed the hell out of it...until I crashed my browser he he!

The only thing you need to do is limit the amount of object on the screen and we've got a nice fidget game, with satisfying sound effects and just a relaxing atmosphere overall. Good job!

I dynamaxed too hard.
I like the idea behind this game. I just wish you didn't slow down so much after getting bigger because that makes the game pretty hard to play after a while. Not like difficulty, but you get to the point where you can hardly move.

I won and I don't know how he he

The game looks so nice! I was wondering why particles needed to be pre-rendered, and then the game started. It has a unique art style, and the gameplay is so satisfying. More gameplay would make this game stand out even more. Good job!

I can't seem to get the controls to do much. Sometimes they get stuck, and especially after my first death. The game looks so nice though, and the music is wonderful! If you can refine the controls of this game, it would be amazing.

I love tower defense games, and this one can be much better with a few added mechanics. Like the ability to purchase upgrades to towers or to add more. Good job! You also need to be able to export your games to either HTML5, EXE, or any other playable format.

If this game was on the Nintendo 64, Nintendo would've LOVED you for having people buy new controller sticks he he

Oh man, the swinging mechanic is so much fun! It made my fingers numb, but it was all worth it to see what morning star strike the haters. Good job with that! It's extremely satisfying.

I'm a god! How can you kill a god? What a grand and intoxicating innocence!

This game was pretty chill. I had two problems though. The first one was that demon slime spawns were a bit scarce, and when they did spawn they did so right on my face. The second problem was with the final boss. When the rocks fell on my slime, my slime was stuck there until I respawned after death. Besides that though, I enjoyed this one.

He he get slimed, wizard!

The way the wizards move remind me of Morrowind, for some reason. I guess cuz I'm thinking of the Dagoths. I love the fact that you can throw a slime to their faces. The only thing I would do is add a cursor or a reticle so you can tell where you're aiming because it was pretty wild aiming at first.

I love me a rhythm game! I did struggle to hit any of the notes though (basically 50-50), and the main reason is because the notes came from the top instead of the bottom as expected. The reaction time required is a bit too fast. If the direction was reversed though, this would make an excellent rhythm game to start with!

The only problem I kept having is getting my seeds stuck in weird places and being unable to move them occasionally. I like the simple gameplay though. The kind of game that you just sit down and relax with. Good job!

"Trust me bro, I've been working here for 20 years". Famous last words.
Super Slime Ball, let's GO! This is so much fun! It's the kind of game people would speedrun to prove their worthiness, and I'm into it. Break all the Nickelodeon Gak™!

Castlevania, except the hearts actually do what you expect hehe

I like this game so much. The music was so twangy  and the gameplay is incredible. The controls feel great and just everything is great! The death system isn't as unforgiving, either, but it still feels bad to lose your score. Good job!

I died by walking too far right past the screen on the first level he he

The puzzle aspect is excellent. I really like the music, too. And I especially enjoyed the exploding attack thing. There's something quite satisfying about it.

This is quite a nice game! Great controls, gameplay, sounds, and music! It gets pretty tough, too. I like this one quite a lot.

Oh yeah, this is fun. I wish I could play more, but my screen is a bit too big for a small sized-game. This is either an itchio problem or Firefox, but the game screen was the size of a playing card hehe

But this is really fun. I love the exploration and how the slime just chases you. It reminds me of old arcade maze games that would spawn a little devil to kill you if you didn't finish the level soon enough. Good job!

Nazeem: Do you visit the Cloud District very often?

Me: Yup. That level is INCREDIBLE!

This was really fun. I don't know why, but at first I thought it was like that arcade game, Zupapa. You know, the game where you throw your children at the enemy. But it was really fun bouncing all over the enemies, and the cloud level was such a blast.

I love games where I see a new thing and I say, "oh, what is THAT?" and then I FAFO. This is a perfect example of that concept. "Oh, just some basic kids. This should be easy". "Oh, who is the guy with all the swords?" "Is that a laser pointing at me?!" Curiosity killed me, and I love that.

I went ahead and changed it. Now you only sacrifice half of your final score instead of your power. I hope that makes things better cuz the original death condition was indeed too cruel.

I thought so too. Halving level and experience seems pretty harsh in retrospect. I think what I'll do instead is half the final score, which would at least give people a chance to actually get to the boss. Thank you for your input, it was extremely helpful.

Thanks! I am not a composer. I tried for hours to make music, but it just doesn't click for me. I really wish it had music too.
