Honestly? I partially just wanted to know why you wanted to complain. I personally don't care one bit what the dev does.
And really now, stooping to cursing and insults? Come on, we're both adults here, why can't we have a civilised conversation?
It really does, when it's a single person making it.
Besides, what could you possibly gain from complaining and whining about its flaws? Did this game get slammed in your face with ad after ad about it? Did someone super well-known recommend it? It's a TINY game that almost no-one knows even exists. What's the point being so harsh about it?
Ironic considering you basically just profiled literally every single individual who supports generative ai a terrible person.
We get it, you don't like it. But think about this for a second: It isn't the ai itself that is stealing the art. It's the smaller group of bad people using it, scraping the internet for art, that are doing the theft.
If it were more regulated, and if real artists actually got fair compensation for it, and could opt out of their art being used without worry of the ai scrapers going behind their back, generative ai would actually be a good thing.
Not all people who use ai are bad either. Some of them are just looking for a way to destress, and nothing else works for them. Some of them don't know any better.
not all people who like ai are good, I won't deny that. But not all of them are bad either.
Paid for one of the original versions (can't remember if it was the one on steam or the one on here) a good while ago, and played through it. Thoroughly enjoyed it, so when I found out there would be a continuation of the story, I was super excited. I will be following development of this eagerly~! :D
Not half bad! Nice and short; Mostly text, but I didn't really mind. Appreciate the good grammar, punctuation etc. A lot of people don't really put enough effort in to pay attention to that nowadays...
The timer was pretty fair too; just long enough to let you reach max size, and even build suspense towards the end; but not too long that it becomes a drag. The art wasn't half bad either~!
Overall, a fun little game. Hope to see more from you in the future! 8/10!
This was pretty great! Can't wait to find out what happens next~.
For some feedback, I think some sort of indication for when you make a good or bad choice might possibly be helpful for if you're worried about misclicking or making a mistake, and don't want to play through the corresponding segment again.
Keep it up; looking forward to seeing more from you!
So I found this game from Haelian over on Youtube (I noticed in his video's comments section the devs of the game had commented so I know they've seen it).
I came over here and downloaded it.
My computer immediately detected (and thankfully successfully blocked) a TROJAN from it.
HELLO???????
P.S. And before anyone says "Oh but it might have just been a false alarm", both Windows Security AND Opera GX flagged it. And Windows Security found a specific file in the folder, LITERALLY NAMED "Trojan". So no, not a false alarm.
Honestly? I usually don't like human stuff. But this surprised me.
By about halfway in, I was kinda questioning my sanity, because this game is simultaneously SO GOOD and SO BAD in the best possible way. I was genuinely saying, out loud (while laughing), "WHAT IS THIS GAAAME??".
8/10, lol. I love and hate it, don't let the actual haters get you down or stop you.
That's fair.
Oh, I also found another issue while playing through the second area too.
I figured out a "workaround" of sorts to get resources without being bothered by the slimes, by only building in the higher sections so the slimes couldn't reach me.
As a result however, they just piled up on the ground floor beneath my buildings, and it rapidly caused my game to lag really heavily.
I get that, and have already set up a decent energy supply. But even with maxed out buildings and EVERYTHING put into defenses they still decimate it.
And with escape, I have already spoken to both of them, but it says "I can't leave them behind" or something, even when I power the teleporter on.
Thanks for replying by the way!
Great game so far!
I do have a question for either the dev, or anyone who has found a good strategy:
Has anyone found a way to optimally defend against the slimes in the second area? They spawn WAY too aggressively to easily deal with, and even spamming a load of defensive buildings only barely takes care of them.
Also, what are you actually supposed to do in the second area? I know it says you need to build a teleporter hub, but when I built one and tried to use it, it said I needed to get the others down. How do you do that?
