I wouldn't have been able to get through it without Rhonda and my girls, aka the bevy of mannequins at every turn.

Like with literally everything Emika Games makes, this has a surprising amount of detailed gameplay and storytelling right off the bat. The ever present shadow with horns was a wonderful detail and every moment of gameplay in the house was enough to make me lose all feeling in several extremities.

This is a fun little 10 minute puzzle in the impossibly foggy woods. I wish we could have seen Mother, but I'll take being the daughter who can kinda crouch.

Oh, August Night. Between the eyeballs, roaches, and ladies crawling out of my TV, I still can't feel my extremities.

Oh, Linger. You scared the shit out of us.

This is a wonderful short game! Did not expect voice acting at all, let alone good VA. Of course, it's very P.T., and this game highlights the strengths of that core idea of guilt and ghosts that may just be in your head, albeit no less real. Very excited to see what's next from DarkMode!

This may be one of the many Backrooms related games, but I guarantee this is by far the best. I spent most of the game dying in various corners, panicking over the sound of my own footsteps, and just generally being too dumb to figure out the door code. Highly recommended and very excited to see what else this dev has in store.

We loved this game.

The VHS fuzziness combined with stunning and panic-inducing visuals just sort of congeals to make The Void meets V/H/S 2. It packs a tight story into 15 - 20 minutes of gameplay all while keeping a solid grip on the mounting horror of our impending doom. It gets 10 cult moons out of 5 from us.
