The art in this is absolutely stunning, and the game had me engaged for quite a while! At a certain point I kinda lost what I was supposed to do to progress, and the quest log was empty for almost all of my play time, so I think the game would benefit from some more direction/quests. Otherwise, good game!
If you submitted a rogue-like or rogue-lite game link it in the comments here and if I have time (and your game is browser playable) I'll rate it later today!
Of course it'd be the grand tradition of rate4rate posts to then rate my game (https://itch.io/jam/bad-ideas-game-jam-2026/rate/4373852), but instead I say go rate ANY of the games in this post that seem interesting to you! (at least 1 lol) Hopefully everyone involved will end up with more ratings and feedback :D (and hopefully this post is seen by enough people to work lol)
Genuinely amazing game, one of the best entries to the jam in my opinion. Reading the comments here most of the feedback I have has already been said by someone else so I have but the tiniest of nit-picks being that the font sometimes cuts off the bottom of letters like lowercase g and y, making them look like an 'o' and a 'u' respectively. just makes it a little harder to read and looks like a spelling mistake sometimes. Otherwise really good job making such a polished game!
I'm glad you like the music! There's actually 2 unused boss tracks that are probably the best tracks I made for the game but didn't make it in since we didn't have time to add bosses. As for the movement, I figured it'd be annoying, and it was actually originally even slower, but I guess I'll need to rebalance the speed of everything at some point if it's still too slow now lol.
Great game! Here's mine https://itch.io/jam/bad-ideas-game-jam-2026/rate/4373852
My game is a trap-based strategy-action roguelike where you play as a wizard with only one spell: summon caltrops.
If you can beat it, you get a thumbs up from me because it is a little (actually, quite a lot) difficult.

Would of liked to add more stuff to it but my team didn't have the time unfortunately :(
Thanks for the feedback! I'm definitely looking into changing the ball physics a bit to make the game feel better, the bumper side quest idea is cool and It's definitely something that I would like to add, so after I get a bunch of other stuff out of the way (like a tutorial) and can add new mechanics again I'll try to do that.
I see the lack of in-game tutorial has struck, I had a feeling it would at some point, adding a tutorial is definitely a top priority right now.
The cards are activated abilities, while playing the pinball part of the game they show up on the left side and you can press w or space to use them to do things like have the ball jump or spawn some extra bouncers, this is also why the flippers turn off when you hold them, because some cards give points and being able to keep the ball in one place allows you to infinitely use those cards, which is a pretty boring way of getting infinite points, (otherwise it would be allowed).
The win condition 100% needs to be explained in-game i realize now, tutorial or not. The win condition is to collect enough lives to survive falling out of 6 cabinets, there's a little cabinet stat on the side and if you fall out of the 6th one with enough lives remaining you win!
I'd suggest trying the game again with these mechanics in mind because they really are a big part of the game, but you can do what you want.
Thanks for the feedback! also, secret squirrel.
I really like this game but it's just so hard that I can barely get to a point where I can buy things from the shop.
-The first time you can access the shop it seems to be impossible to have enough money to buy anything, I used it as a chance to catch my breath which was also nice but maybe a cheap item you could buy would be a good addition?
-I might be bad at the game but I lost a life almost every single time the two colours I needed were on opposite corners, I do think some extra time (just a little bit) would be nice. The extra time could be active just for the first few levels/fights so you can keep the challenge of the current game.
-Art and UI were great :)
Current version of the game has no tutorial (game is still in development), I will be adding one in game at some point but for now if you have no clue what's going on this devlog > https://thesolarslime.itch.io/bug-souls-pinball/devlog/671574/tutorial-and-v03-p... < has a short tutorial.
Cool game! I liked the mechanic where you can only have one permanent card, it made choosing which cards to take a lot more interesting and prevented using the same upgrades every attempt.
Holding down the attack button all the time seems to be quite powerful as then it attacks automatically when an enemy is near, meaning I didn't have to worry about enemies surprising me, this became even more powerful when I realized it was also automatically attacking and killing any projectiles fired at me. I became basically untouchable after combining this with strength and dexterity cards.
