Though it being not updated in a long time, I do believe the author is still active! Her latest repost on her tumblr was in late July of this year which shows she is still very much present and didnt just totally ghost everybody. Under the more information tab, it also shows it was updated 21 days ago, though changes might not be in the demo of what we have now, there is a good chance she may be still working. Of course, this is what I have believed as of right now (●'◡'●)

I do believe that agreeing to extra security before the Crowns coronation is a big part in making sure your citizens and Yekbun dont die! In my own playthroughs-- I have prioritized my public over the nobles. I remember agreeing to extra security during the party(?) and my parade. I had kept the prisoner in the dungeons, and so, later-- Yekbun had only a simple cut on her arm!
Try agreeing to extra security in all ways and keeping the prisoner in the palace(if you wish) or sending them to marabad's prison!
